Unh @ uml 11/6

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

12:29 in regulation -- still 2-1 UNH.

Beer foraging yielded a Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale -- almost everything from this small Milton, Delaware brewer is great!

SOG 38-16 UNH -- and that's with the multiple Lowell PPs (and none for NH). But it's the scoreboard that matters...

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

I think I have listened to about 2/3 of the game due to technical difficulties of the broadcast.....I am fairly certain the feed has not missed a commercial

Love Dogfish Head! Great brewery indeed!! IBA is pretty nifty and relatively inexpensive compared to many of the other DH beers.

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

I am so friggin sick of missing game action because of their technical difficulties.... if I had anything else to do at this minute I might actually do it!

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

It seems we have an inverse relationship between intensity of play and likelihood of hearing the play by play.

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

Huge save by DiGi with about 3:30 to go after a bad turnover in the slot by Paul Thompson. Whew!

3:13 left to go in the 3rd now.

You're right -- they're not always cheap, but they're generally excellent. Go to to www.ratebeer.com and type in "Dogfish Head" in the search bar -- what a list! And pretty darned good scores...

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

Yet another power play to Lowell with 1:38 in regulation. Man advantage, soon to be a two man advantage... :-(

SOG 43-23 UNH, but they're trying desperately to hold fort here...

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

This is ridiculous. Now Mike Borisenok goes for holding.. UNH back to the box with 1:38 left. LOL! 3 straight penalties to end this game. Whatever.

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

When was the last time you saw one team outshoot the other by 20 (43-23) and have more penalties called against them for the game? Odd indeed.

Have we had even a single power play? I missed some action, but don't recall one.

And it's a final -- same score as last night, UNH by 2-1.

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

Well at least we didn't have to listen to them pepper us in the last 30 seconds......Any win is a good one.

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

Thanks to the shi tty broadcast quality no one heard the end of the game..... great work, guys.... top quality!

As for UNH, they apparently hold on for the 2-1 win. Ok, fine. Glad we won, but please dear God get us out of this shi thole and into a real building for the next game (the Whitt) so those of us out of town don't have to suffer with audio broadcasts that are 2nd grade quality. As if the reliability was not poor enough, the broadcast sounded like it was coming through a tin can and string. Whole thing just reeks of embarrassing.

Re: Unh @ uml 11/6

Thanks, Richard.... it would by my honor.....

KSSSSSZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZHHHHHHHHHTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHEERS!!

I do feel for the announcers, though -- nothing they personally can do, and they're similarly victimized and frustrated...
