Miami takes a 2-1 lead. Not a PP goal as the penalty had just expired. Goal at 6:56 of the second.

Apparently, DiGi is really good in close, but not so good on shots from long range. Hmmm...

On the bright side, at least he's good at something. Last 2 years he hasn't been good with shots from anywhere on the ice.

Just got here, but wound thru the DVR to see what needed to be seen in this one.... some good and some bad for UNH. At least the two Miami goals were on really good shots and not Digi's fault.

Really bad goal for Reichard... Mike's got a good shot, but coming off the right boards, he had very little room and a horrid angle and beat him to Reichard's right just inside the left post.

2:15 left in the 2nd and UNH stands around and watches Camper just fire at will on DiGi. A poor defensive effort there from UNH. 3-2 Miami

And none of these has DiGi had even a hint of a shot at saving.

Miami 3, UNH 2.. end of 2

Not bad but too many defensive lapses for UNH on the road. Have to keep things much simpler, UNH. Game is not over by any means and 3rd period will tell the story.

In Detroit tonight, the Red Wings open their NHL season vs Anaheim doing what great teams do....they dominate at home.

Hey, Dean... God, sorta bittersweet in this one. Good and bad play all over the place by UNH. Hard to bit ch, but hard to be anything but bummed when you see the scoreline. DiGi really has been pretty good in this game, too.

Dean, are you watching this on TV or on internet radio?
