UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

Oh Emily, just phonies Buford and Meathead. Btw, you are small g guilty of the same garbage they are regarding Conmy. But Buford and Meathead are arrogant knuckleheads that have treated decent people like coaches and some players over the years like garbage.

It delights me to no end to know they can’t take it. All those losers can do is dish it out.
Klinefelter, you are missing the point per usual. When someone is paid to succeed at a job and they continue to fail in most instances they are removed from that position. As for the Lord and Savior of UNH Conmy, why is this the hill you want to die on? Even if he was still here, he is not saving this team. Head over to the BC board to spew your man love for him.

Isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black? You seem to treat decent people like garbage…name calling…?

While I don't disagree with your last couple of posts Chuck, I'm sorry, this is just a poor piece of reporting/ writing. Red Smith has nothing to worry about.

The only good paragraph is the final one, and even then it contradicts what he wrote about Wiedler earlier in the "article." Comparing Dick Umile to Kevin Sneddon. Seriously? Kevin Sneddon is a "legend?" A word, btw, which the author overused in the piece.

Umile is 11th all time in wins, 42 spots ahead of the legendary Sneddon, who is 5 spots ahead of his predecessor Mike Gilligan, who seems a better comparison. Umile's teams appeared in the NCAA's 18 times, with 4 trips to the Frozen Four. Both Sneddon and Gilligan made 3 NCAA appearances and a single trip to the Frozen Four. Umile's winning percentage as a head coach is just over .600 - Sneddon (and Gilligan for that matter) were sub .500.

When the guy couldn't even get Souza's (unacceptable) record correct it should have been a red flag.

I get why the piece resonates with UNH fans, just thought you had higher journalistic standards, Chuck.
Fair enough, Felgie ... not sure I was totally gaga over the quality of the content, and I did scold the writer for his naiveté in not playing it by the conventional college hockey media how-to guide. But our Karen scold pal potty, who until now has professed as to his preference for short bursts of social media bytes, really exposed his hypocrisy in espousing his love for the Frank Deford, William Jenkins and Leigh Montville 10 page SI epistles of the past.

Just to be clear, no one loved the long form writing we enjoyed back in those days than myself, but potty constantly decrying two paragraph on-line discussions on here is entirely at odds with his now-professed admiration for the olden days of long form journalism. I suspect there are many things that confuse him ...

Oh, Meathead, you and Buford just can't help it. You two idiots don't realize how creepy you are to obsess on and bother the players. Hockey Refs posts are good natured. He's a level headed loyal fan.

Oh, if only ...🤪:ROFLMAO::LOL:🤪:ROFLMAO: ... please, just let potty stew in this, don't fill him in! Right up there with "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" in its Blutarsky-like cluelessness. Two posts of pure golden blissful ignorance, I'm sure if anyone is laughing louder at this than myself, it would be Emily and Ref.

No worries, potty ... we're not laughing with you, we're laughing at you and your epic cluelessness and arrogance. The working rule of this thread shall now be called the "potty Rule 1.0", where if we just manage to string you along a little bit longer every day, you eventually step in it, big-time. Today you hit the Daily Double 🤪🤪

In other bizzarro-world hockey news, Florida Panthers star Eetu Luostarinen will be sidelined after getting injured doing the fabled "Half Sawchuk" maneuver ...

... norbie has now also forced me to research the "Klinefelter" and "Chromosome 47" bits he dropped earlier on potty. Explains a lot, actually ... (y)

Add this with the Jack Hughes is out for 8 weeks after a non-hockey injury at a team dinner.

Chuck, I think you are slowly revealing PL to be MS7 in disguise. Just like during games, he is always rolling out the same tired lines. Sloppy with the details, little imagination, minimal improvement

Where's Irving Fryar when you need him? :ROFLMAO:

Dunno, Whalers, with all the childish name-calling, poor grammar, and limited vocabulary, methinks PL is more likely a 12- or 13-year-old.
