Yeah it’s pretty clear Emily is another wannabe insider. Buford Meathead and Emily swim in the land of delusion.Pray tell. That goes for all of you inside info types. Otherwise it’s all just skim worthy fantasy, rumor, bullshit and blather.

Nah. IIRC Bozo was from Maine and was very critical of UNH. Not a true UNH fan in his dna. That's fine but he was an arse for sure.Fixed your post. You're entirely welcome.
Maybe you should shut up without Knowing who anyone is. Emily has been a fan and supporter since she was 6 months old and she knows more about the program and players than anyone else on this board.nobody that truly loves UNH hockey would personally attack the AMATEUR hockey players in the program on public message boards. Rest assured none of the players or coaches inside the UNH program have any respect for gutter sniping slime balls like Norbert (Meathead) and Buford (Chuck) and JB (Elwood). Attacking the kids in the program on message boards is gutless. Only people with zero accomplishments in their own lives do it. Those losers are not friends of UNH hockey.
Oh, and Emily, with the garbage you posted about Conmy here, rest assured nobody inside UNH hockey views you as a supporter. Truth.
Broken wrist is what I heard . 4-6 weeks. But Corky won’t believe itWhat happened to Marty Lavins last night?
He was probably told by Corky that people express opinions on a message board and he got scared.Nikita Konevych a 2026 UNH recruit is no longer a UNH recruit via Heisenburg. This helps the logjam we were talking about the other day. I wish the kid luck and hope he finds a new team.
Layoff the Corky Coolaid. As JB said, those who talk/hear things are not going to say who it was. You can call it rumor, fantasy, or bullshit but there are plenty of people on here who know each other and know that some people might actually have real info.Pray tell. That goes for all of you inside info types. Otherwise it’s all just skim worthy fantasy, rumor, bullshit and blather.
Not sure who ever said Hemmingway, JVR, Pots, or Gildon were bad teammates. I have only said it once about Conmy which was told to me. There has been criticism of poor play but that it is not indicative or a synonym for bad teammate. Its can be hard to take claims about bad teammates at UNH seriously. They often come from the same posters year over year and drip with the same hyperbole and emotion, always directed at the team's better or best players and usually because said player(s) haven't lifted the team to ultimate success - in spite of (often) outstanding numbers and (often recently) a lack of surrounding talent.
Hemingway was a bad teammate, JVR was a bad teammate, Poturalski was a bad teammate, Gildon was a bad teammate and now Conmy is a bad teammate. The list goes on. At some point you have to ask why this topic only arises around UNH's most talented players? The childlike emotional outbursts only raise more questions...
Conmy was UNH's best player (by a country mile) last season. I won't get into the numbers again, but he and Cronin were the ONLY players who scored with ANY level of consistency in the last two thirds of they year. If anyone wanted to be critical there were players much more responsible to target (and the stats reflect that offensively and defensively). But UNH fans reserve their ire only for the best; Its become an embarrassing (for the fan base) badge of honor (for the player).
Its only compounded when the calls come for the end of the roster players to play in said players' place. Give me less of that PPG and team leading scorer and more of that guy who averages four minutes of ice time and one minute in the penalty box per outing; that guy who has never scored a point of any kind and only plays minimally in protected situations they'll type wildly...
BTW - Conmy scored again tonight, putting him on early pace for 24 regular season goals. Unsurprisingly, I'd tend to doubt any of this conversation comes up at BC if he does score 20+. Something, something wins. Something, something surrounding teammates. Something, something no longstanding tendency to eat their own.
--
Side note - none of this applies to JB, even if I disagree (or at least want to disagree) with his take (which is far more measured and respectful than others), and who I believe would ultimately much prefer to avoid this type of conversation rather than revel in them. A lot of players don't mesh. Taking that outcome to ridiculous extremes reflects more on certain posters than Conmy.
I can appreciate JB's objectivity and grain of salt surrounding what he believes or has been told. Though source or otherwise, I'd hardly consider any chatter gospel in situations like these.
Oh, Meathead, even by your standards of delusional behavior, this post stands alone. You spent you Saturday night talking with the coaches and players about the Michigan State trip? When I see the guys tonight and have a conversation about bad last night was, I’ll think of you sitting your ivory trowel of small man syndrome.
No I didn’t see the coaches. Since you are all knowing you know I attend a restaurant in Durham. You know who lives in Durham? Hockey players. Let’s see if you can put the correlation from there.Oh, Meathead, even by your standards of delusional behavior, this post stands alone. You’re much sicker than I ever imagined. Hell, you make Buford seem less pathetic, bowl cut and all.
Why?Layoff the Corky Coolaid. As JB said, those who talk/hear things are not going to say who it was. You can call it rumor, fantasy, or bullshit but there are plenty of people on here who know each other and know that some people might actually have real info.
Bobo grew up less than 5 miles from the WIS Estate, still lives there, and is a UNH grad, so you're definitely missing the mark on those fronts, e.cat.Nah. IIRC Bozo was from Maine and was very critical of UNH. Not a true UNH fan in his dna. That's fine but he was an arse for sure.
He did more battling with BC pinheads than UMainers. Sure he liked to take shots about the retroactive financial aid, Walsh cheats, etc… But it actually wasn’t really unfounded. At the end of the day Walsh, like Earnhardt, ran the program loose and always on the edge of a major crash in that regard. In hindsight now we have a player making $700k at Penn State. So the extra meal swipes at the cafeteria that was one of the findings seems kind of silly. I think we all understood this so the battles with UNHers were in some ways not outrageous. In fact, Bobo seemed knowledgeable when it came to actually talking hockey. Just as I believe most Maine fans are on here. However, the BC pinheads were always coming off as annoying frat boys and didn’t back anything up with actual hockey knowledge. I think they got under Bobo, Chuck, etc… skin more than UMainers. We can have fun and zing each other as you and I do sometimes. But still have respect for each others programs. We do it because that’s what a rivalry is. But you didn’t even have to be in a rivalry to hate those pinheads back then. They were the epitome of know-nothing bandwagoner mouthy cocky frat boys. Unanimously hated by everyone, and Bobo lead the charge in slaying them any chance they needed checked. And for that we all actually liked Bobo. That is my opinion anyways.Bobo grew up less than 5 miles from the WIS Estate, still lives there, and is a UNH grad, so you're definitely missing the mark on those fronts, e.cat.
It's been awhile since he posted on here under that persona, but he was no more critical of the UNH program than many of us who have objectively been critical of the same things. He also has excellent contacts, and his criticisms of the school's admin-level hierarchy were especially biting (and in retrospect very accurate).
In fairness, I think Bobo was highly critical of UMaine in general, and Walshy in particular, but many of their older posters got along fine with him. I think by the time my position towards Walshy softened, Bobo had left the boards. But the idea that he was from OR fond of Maine is pretty laughable, I can say I know of no one else who could go on a 5 minute rant on the joys of blueberry raking like Bobo, and leave the room in stitches.
An "arse"? Matter of opinion, but I can understand why you'd feel that way. But he sure was entertaining, and as probably the last board regular left who knows both of you, I strongly suspect if you guys ever met, the rough edges would get smoothed over, and love of UNH Hockey would prevail, just like with you and me.
I guess after 25 years of posting and following these boards the fog of war has set in. Maybe I'm confusing Bozo with the Pro from Dover. I think he is a Maniac living in hostile territory ovah in Dovah. But I could be wrong on that one too. You don’t know who I am or who I know. Maybe people are connected and your jealousy can’t handle it.Why?

Love Seinfeld. Remember the episode when they couldn't find their car in a parking garage? Chuck will like this. I took my three sons to an Expos game in Montreal back in the day. The parking garage circumvents the stadium. I could not find my car after the game. We must have circled that stadium three times until I finally found it. Happy daysReminds me of a Seinfeld episode; “ Who was Bozo? Was he a clown, or something?”
Meathead: you unhinged, not connected. Darius recognizes whst a blowhard you are. Kudos to him.You don’t know who I am or who I know. Maybe people are connected and your jealousy can’t handle it.
Jealousy rears its ugly head every time you post. You tell us who you are and we can have a real conversation. Until then it’s back to hockeyMeathead: you unhinged, not connected. Darius recognizes whst a blowhard you are. Kudos to him
