UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

........Easily could have been 6-1 without Chauvette making some incredible saves......
Echos Mike McMahon's reporting in his post game wrap-up for Merrimack. Warriors have more offensive skill than they've had in recent years. Additon of Gill and Hoskins (transfer from Niagra) has added some scoring punch that UNH is unfortunately missing other than LeClerc.

There were points in the game last night where it seemed like the team had quit, particularly in the second period. Not something I had really seen from even the worst of the Souza coached teams.

Totally agree. They got a little bit of life back after the Leclerc goal in the 3rd, but it was too little, too late. I saw what appeared to be some eye rolling, heads down, and a few instances of (what appeared to be) lack of effort.

I also agree with past Souza teams I always thought they played pretty hard for him, even if the results weren’t there. It definitely seemed a bit different last night…

You know the players hear the rumors, and obviously the chants last weekend, and probably feel they are letting their coach and school down. The best way to silence the critics is to come out on FIRE tonight. Let’s go!
