Edit: nice article in today’s Boston Globe by Andrew Mahoney about a farewell gathering of the old-time college hockey elites in the area at Metthews Arena yesterday. Ben Smith, who coached the women’s ice team to Olympic gold in 1998, was there, as ware Dick Umile and Scotty Borek, among a couple dozen others, nearly all skating a few laps around the rink. Fun anecdote about Ted Donato grabbing Bill Cleary’s arm to thwart Cleary’s well-known “fake handshakes.” 🙂

The new guy (?) has nothing to do with me, e.cat. I don't do alter egos, sock puppets, etc. Not my idea of "fun", sorry.

As it is, Mr. LSD isn't funny, and it doesn't appear like funny is just over the horizon, either. Jacques is not walking through that door ... know what I mean?? And if it somehow does turn into "Jacques", well, kudos to the new guy (?) he's certainly set us all up with super low expectations.

There's only one regular pos(t)er on here who's changed ID's in the recent past, so if I were you, I'd start at potty, our fave humorless Karen ...

When the purported "counterpoint" lacks any support, is easily dismantled (as I did in about 15 seconds), and has no buy-in from anyone, it's "virtual". You don't get to count your multiple personalities to your clan and get to invoke the term "us" either. It's just you ... lonely old you, yourself and vous. One, solo , uno.
