Thanks. Makes sense. I wonder if pay less/accept mediocre results is a strategy and if it might apply to other sports :-0My understanding is that Davis is making less than Herrion

What does Ben Barr “got” that MS7 “don’t got”?
They already have, but play in Hamel (Snively): https://www.imleagues.com/spa/sport/07075c04f93d4838a76a6d3cfe2321e1/home#sportnameIce is overrated. Maybe UNH Hockey can adjust to street/roller hockey instead, and play their games at Lundholm, too?

Charisma baby, charisma. Kiddin aside, I think Benny has a natural likability that comes across pretty quickly. He seems sincere, relaxed, good sense of humor and at the same time focused. In some ways reminds me of Monty. I think people want to play for him.
Looks like Benny also picked up Bentley sophomore forward Harrison Scott (8 goals, 15 points) who scored two of his eight goals against Maine in their 5-1 loss in Waltham during mid-October.
Nondescript other than the 204 career penalty minutes, averaging roughly 2 minutes per game.
Take it he plays a gritty game, potential bottom six checking line center in Durham to usher out the MS7 Era, Snives??
Now that Rand has won his natty (OT!!) He can hang that banner next season and then...head to UNH to wrap up his storied career...
Very pleased for the Bobcats!
Or his assistant they talked about can lead us to promised land. Hopefully we will get out of the desert of 40 years soon!

Which assistant? Dumais or Corbett or Eddy?
After scoring 23 goals and 148 points at Quinnipiac as a defenseman between 2003/04 and 2006/07, Reid Cashman later was a Pecknold assistant between 2011/12 and 2015/16. Then after four years as an assistant in the AHL and NHL, Cashman just completed his second year as HC at Dartmouth, with a two-year record of 12-46-4, 0.226, considerably worse than MS7’s first two years at our State U.
Meanwhile, Pecknold’s record is now 614-337-103, 0.631, over 21 seasons, somewhat better than Dick’s.
Good question as I just heard Q had an assistant coach that will be a great HC anywhere from Bucci on the call. I should have paid better attention. I was just wanting Minnesota to lose.
BTW, Dumais now has two championships, one shared with Barr at Union,
