Agree. The early stage of the Hobey process is becoming similar to admission to the Baseball Hall of Fame

P.S. My all time favorite UVM hippie is John Glynne.

HAHAHA I get that all the time. Just a coincidence. I was born in 1994 and my dad is also named Pete which is really trippy. I don't like the Maine Black Bears at all boooooo!

Man...even though this is a recurring theme I just can't understand how you can play so sloppy...when so much is on the line. Way to go UVM using the opportunities you have been given

On another note..good for Cronin getting that goal his first in a long time.

Playing very uninspired hockey. At least the UVM announcer is decent.

So, once again, according to CHN live box, we are nearly doubling up the opposition in SOG (27-15) midway through third. Are any UNH SOG from in close, or are all from out beyond the circles?

The BC-BU game on NESN is incredibly entertaining. Did we really beat beat BU early in the season?

Yeah I mean some are in close but it's like we aren't playing like a team..UVM doing a great job defensively but it doesn't help when we have a ton of errant passes...just no decent rhythm regardless of the coveted SOGs..

Does Devlin need to be in the box every game???

Maybe first half of season was a mirage?

Squandered yet another HEA game in hand, although still have two games in hand vs Catamounts, despite being tied in HEA points for seventh. Loss to Luce’s Yukon at the Whitt last weekend hurt much more in PWR than loss at the Gutt tonight.

When does MS7 throw out the white flag and give Muszelik another game in net?
 
What’s wrong with this team? Seems that they were extremely overrated after the first few games of the season. Can’t score to save their lives. This is the part of the schedule that was supposed to be “light” and they’ve pissed that away. I think we all need to lower expectations of this team. UNH’s floor is an Early round exit of the HE tournament and if they somehow make the NCAA tournament, their ceiling is a first round exit. So disappointed with this team. What do you guys think is wrong with this squad?

This is not on Hellsten. This is on the lackadaisical play that is UNH hockey for some reason unknown to mortal man.

But hey couldnt hurt...(throws hands up)

Great hockey. Very compelling #1 vs. #2 viewing and they do it again tomorrow. #4 Denver vs. #5 North Dakota on CBSSN as well.

Ever seen the movie "Ground Hog Day"? There's your answer....whats wrong with this team is what HAS been
wrong for the past 10 or so seasons.

This roster has talent but it's not clicking at the moment. Instead of coming out hard they let UVM dictate the play I could see it in the first 5 minutes.

I disagree with the overrated part..I see a team that once again has regressed. This team should have won the last 2 games. Mr. HR agrees so dont try to change my mind ha ha.

YEAH I'm a sore loser but just bothers me to no end. I really shouldn't be surprised and I feel badly for them. I know Chuck will surely be talking about Lucy and the football.

I still maintain they are better than this but sometimes they have a funny way of showing it...Im already seeing online comments that the difference was the UVM goalie. I'll give him credit where credit is due but that is not the reason UNH couldnt put the game away. we chased it all night.

If you can't get them up to win the games they should and can win...pK did well tonight (at least) and once again it doesn't seem to matter if you put up 40 SOG's.

How's about coming in hot tomorrow night and play with urgency from the get go? That would be a start.

This game is not on Jakob. it is under performance. I can't see Moose playing tomorrow. This team needs a win and he is not the guy to put in to give up 4 goals.

Probably not, but if the ’cats lose another tomorrow may as well go back to the rotation.

There is no light in HE, for the most part any team can beat any other on any given night. A freak goal, one or two odd man rushes, a major penalty, D taking a night or even a few shifts off can make a last place team competitive v a top team.
 
Gutterson continues to be a house of horrors. Offensively UNH is regressing back to 21-22 & 22-23 where scoring chances (let alone goals) were few and far between. To date this season I've been pleasantly surprised, but as was just said - water is finding its own level. I was at Agganis a couple weekends ago where UNH played a great first third of the game, but stumbled after that. Looking ahead it feels like a microcosm of the season.

Watched #1 vs #2 at Conte tonight and it was really fun. The building was LOUD.
