Dear Wildcat fans,

THANK YOU for your support of UNH Athletics. We understand many of you have experienced difficulties with our ticketing system with issues ranging from purchasing or claiming tickets, to accessing and downloading your tickets. We are also aware of the amount of time it has taken to process orders online.

We apologize that your ticket purchasing experiences have not been positive. Please be assured that we hear you and are taking your issues seriously. We have been in regular communication with senior members of our third-party ticketing platform, to address these issues, among others. However, the responses and solutions offered to us have only led to temporary fixes, have not prevented new problems from arising nor have resulted in long-term or lasting solutions.

We are currently in the process of finding a new ticketing platform and one of the priorities is to ensure that the new ticketing platform functions at a high level and supports UNH Athletics fans by making your ticket purchasing experience efficient, easy and seamless.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through the numerous issues with our third-party ticketing platform. We are working hard to make supporting your favorite UNH team a great experience.

Sincerely,

Fumi Kimura
Deputy Athletic Director

Yes, his sister is a retired librarian in California. Good observation, Drew. :-)

Anyone driving out to Rochester (NY) this weekend? Closer than Buffalo (our last FF appearance in 2003, no thanks to RIT).

I draw the line at 5 hrs plus I have family up from Fla so
no hockey for me...I do know some fans who are going.

This summer Mr.HR went to the US Open out there. We will be going to Sacred Heart end of Dec...hopefully as newly crowned Grandparents!!!

As per the ticket thing we couldn't get ours for the NU game as I didn't download them earlier. Some here have had them printed. Put a call in (and was impressed Pete Souris called me right back as I left a message) and they had them ready when we arrived. (Have downloaded them since) Oddly I got them in a text today.

Glad to see UNH is on it....

I was tempted to consider it - I love upstate NY, even Buffalo and Rochester, the latter of which has seen better days - but the lure of sitting in 30 degree temps at The House That Blue Skies Built on Sunday afternoon to see if UNH can punch its ticket to the Elite Eight was tough to turn down. So, maybe next time I travel to RIT.

BTW 'Ref your hubby missed me by about a week out in Rochester this past Spring (it was the PGA not US Open). Only reason I know for sure is they had a replica of the Wanamaker Trophy (PGA) in the lobby where I stayed for a business trip last May. Oh, and it was my most recent stop at the Dinosaur BBQ. WAY better than Schenectady. Just sayin' ...

....you'd think the daughter of a long time PGA pro would know that! I was supposed to go but didn't last minute. I think we might go to the Players this coming Spring; not far
from my home town Jax fla and one of my fav places to hang out St. Auggie (Augustine).

Assume the 'Cats will travel up there (over there?) tomorrow. I'll have to sneak in the game at the family festivities! Have a great holiday everyone, and good luck Soccer 'Cats!

Well, at least they are owning it. Took us close to 2 hours Sat late morn to mash thru the process getting UNH/NU tix. "Don't refresh your connection!!" Better off just driving down and walking up to the ticket window. Understood, there's more demand these days but it was kinda rediculous... Business Rule #1: Don't make it difficult for people to give you $$!

And changing ticketing platforms mid-season...what can go wrong with that strategy?!?

All this said, it was worth the wait. For a lot of reasons, this is the best I've seen this team look in a bunch of years.

Instead of traveling to Rochester, I will be scouting the Fish Hawks at Tsongas on Friday night where the Bentley Falcons will be trying to break a three-game losing streak. The last Bentley game that I attended was opening night when the Falcons took the Terriors into OT before taking a penalty and losing 3-2. Six nights later, I watched on NESN as the still shaky Terriors lost 6-4 to our Cats. Will report back what I think our chances will be against the Fish Hawks later this season.

What an awful half a game. 3 minutes of decent play to tie this but I feel like I’m watching my men’s league. Fitzgerald is my new Yandle…. Awful

Not pretty after a terrible start...undisciplined play led to 2 goals...great to see Comny have a good night glad he wasn't injured...but not nearly good enough for the most part despite spurts of decent play.

So how many 5 min majors have we had this season? 2? And one last thing...how do you not play the nations top goal keeper who just.had a shutout? Listen am all for rolling the keepers but you can't usually win games with 5 goals scored.

Tomorrow night's result will speak volumes about the 'Cats being able to bounce back. All teams have wonky games and frankly I had a feeling about this one..

And don't get me going about my Bruins who for the second time this season lost in regulation to Chucks DRW's....sighhhh.

The rotation makes sense as Moose starter last Friday. No one will stop the first two. Open in the front and a tip from 20 feet.

the issue is Reid and Fitzgerald are liabilities out there. And Huard as the QB on the PP has to stop. For all the good Souza isn’t making adjustments.

Tomorrow I think will tell a lot but other than a goalie change the line up will remain.

Got home from Bentley 4-1 win (SOG 40-15) at Tsongas in time to watch UNH choke on the full 2 minutes of 5 on 3 PP midway through third, but at least it did not appear that MS7 stationed two players uselessly behind the RIT net during the PP. How cannot Hellsten be the every day starter with a 0.99 GAA and 0.951 SV%? And why did Siedem not get another chance with his 1.00 GPG average? UNH now 0-2-0 all time against RIT. Too bad that UNH does not get to play UML until season’s end, as the River Hawks are struggling with many injuries right now. UNH now needs to win in Orono along with the other six OOC games to go 7-1 before we face BU again in January.

Well guess it's time you had another fireside chat eh?
Personally I think they were looking past them some and might not have been prepared for what RIT through at them at the get go. Agree 2 fluky goals but I still am not sure I support the rotation but hey tonight could be more of the same forHellsten.

Credit to the 'Cats for coming back too bad we did not score on the 5 on 3. Hopefully things are better tonight as it's going to be a lonngggg ride home from Rochester....

Go 'Cats!

TM played great last weekend - the rotation plan was the right one and easy to see coming (this weekend). If JH plays well again tonight that plan goes out the window and he elevates to the #1 spot for the foreseeable future. The issue last night was play in front of the goaltender during key stretches, most notably out of the gates in the first…

RIT is a good team, but that was a disappointing effort. Tonight will be telling for what’s to come…

Thanks Dan for your perspective...I don't mean to hang this on TM...agree he's a very capable goal tender. I knew RIT would bring a game to the 'Cats and was frankly not
that surprised to see that. Their goaltender played very well too. Like you said tonight is telling, particularly how they do from the get go. I am concerned abit about
some of the undisciplined play that's leading to penalties. Another game with 10 plus minutes in the box is no way to win, and against teams with fire power
you'd be buried. As it was, RIT got 2 goals on that 5 minute major...

This game isn’t on Tyler. This is a failure of special teams. The 3 ppg given up drops them from 1 to 13th nationally. And the power play was gross. They gave up basically a breakaway on a 5 on 3. Huard should not be leading these situations. If he’s the only option try 5 forwards.

I had expected Devlin back this weekend which sets the lines back.

it was fitting Weekend at Bernie’s was on last night. I’d take him as Fitzgerald’s replacement.

I like Fitzy's game tho the last couple have been rocky. I think he just needs to find his niche in this level of play maybe? As per Devlin, I had heard that most
likely he won't be playing until after the break (no pun intended)...there's what, 3 games left to the break. Could see him v Army/Sacred Heart? The announcers were touting
our 'second in the nation' PK and you are right, there was a massive failure of sorts there. I'm sure they are quite aware and hopefully, adjustments are made tonight.

Need to remind myself the game is at 5...meanwhile, the B's v NYR is a good game to prime with.
