UNH Commits & Recruiting: 2019 and Beyond

I had not visited this thread in a while. Read a couple of pages at the beginning in 2019, which was illuminating, to say the least.

On March 22, 2023 senior UNH goalie David Fessenden entered the transfer portal. He committed to UMass Amherst the next day and ended up at Canisius. At the time, there were zero goalies committed to UNH.
On April 18, 2023 sophomore North Dakota goalie Jakob Hellsten committed to UNH through the transfer portal. Hellsten finished the 2023-24 season at UNH with a record of 15-12-1, including 5 shutouts, 2.04 Goals Against Average, and .909 Save%.

Senior UNH forward Cam Gendron has entered the transfer portal. That, in addition to the roster opening created by Harrison Blaisdell completing his 5th NCAA season, makes 2 forward openings for Connor & Ryan MacPherson on the 2024-25 UNH roster.

Addendum: Senior UNH forward Nick Cafarelli entered transfer portal on March 27. Over the last three offseasons, every graduating UNH senior who entered the transfer portal ended up playing for another school (Maass/Minnesota State, Pierson/Notre Dame, Sato/Bentley, Esposito/Mercyhurst, Stevenson/Merrimack, & Fessenden/Canisius). It's highly likely Gendron and Cafarelli will as well.

With Blaisdell, Gendron & Cafarelli leaving UNH, 3 openings for forwards become available on the 2024-25 roster. I project the MacPherson twins will fill 2 of these openings and the 3rd forward opening will either go to another commit who has signed an NLI or a forward from the transfer portal.
