Apparently according to the play by play guy, this would be a HUGE win for the program... you know, beating a much weaker team at home, in a place where they have dominated UNH recently...

they've been talking like this all game... you know if we're good I expect us to beat everybody... doesn't mean it will happen but unless we're about to sweep the #1 in the nation I'm not sure if any one regular season game is that critical for the program.

UNH scored three third-period goals against a BC team that people seem to think is good. Lowell scored three third-period goals against UNH. By the transitive property, Lowell is now good.

it makes perfect sense.

That was awful. Congrats to the Riverhawks though, nice to see this program make such a strong comeback after being on the brink.

Well, that's about what I anticipated.

UNH PK is still embarrassingly terrible. As is true of the PP. The UML 5 on 3 was a BIT of a weak call, but that's no excuse. You cannot be giving up 3+ PPGs a game. I blame Foster on the one where he came off the post because he was looking for the UML pass (the 3rd UML goal) and he missed the poke check on the 4th UML goal which burned him.

UNH battles back, I give them credit for that, but you can't be doing that every game. We are painfully soft on D, that is very clear.

But again, Lowell is very strong this season, and they completely deserved that win.

Dean, sorry to have bailed on you this game, back to the radio for me next week against UMA. Perhaps it is better to not see the games and just hear them ;) :p

It was a really nice shot over Foster's shoulder, roofed it, no where else it could have gone in as Foster had most of the net covered.

Foster is going to be on his own for a while, I'm afraid.

Hey I would have done the same if I had the option, so no worries. I'm guessing you feel about as sick as I do after having had to watch that mess. Man, where do you even start with this team? So many problems and we're well into the season now. Well it is a rebuilding year right :)?

I'm not all that upset. I don't know, I just think we lost so much last season, and I think we have some pretty good talent, just really young. They'll be okay, just going to take a while, likely beyond this season.

All I ask is that UNH tries every game, and for the most part, I feel like they do. They seem to get frustrated when things are going wrong (end of this game they started to get mildly chippy), but I can't say I blame them too much. Just got to keep working at it. Would be nice to fix some basics though.

Ya, this team is really built for next year, considering how young they are. Hopefully they can take something from these games and build on them.

Yeah, we'll see how it goes. I'll be at both BU games (yikes) and the Merrimack game while home for a couple of weeks this month. Could be quite horrifying :p

Have a great trip back home Erin. Ya, I'm not used to being sick this much. I've already taken more time off work in the last few weeks than I normally do in a year.
