UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

Re: UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

If anyone has a Harvard-BU score would you post it?

Re: UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

Cats score, henrion. And... worst call I have ever seen there on Goumas...

Re: UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

2-2 after 2. SOG, UNH 26, Dartmouth, 15. Still baffled by these officials...

Steelers won.

Re: UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

From where I'm sitting both teams are anklebiters. Help me out.

Not sure I can, as apparently I don't know my dog breeds as well as you. I know what a Terrier is, but a Crimson?

Re: UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

UNH is fortunate to be tied in this game. Despite the difference in SOG, Dartmouth had the better of play in the 2nd. Its been a very chippy game, with Dartmouth getting away with some questionable hits. Most notably, when Goumas smalled into the boards from 3' away, went to one knee, got up, and somehow got called to Embellishment...

Mello, Dartmouths goalie, is surely living up to expectations. Made quite a few impressive saves, quick post-to-post.

UNH will need to get their frustration/anger in check, as they are getting their looks, just need to finish. Dartmouth will continue to hit, before and after the whistles, because a) they can and b) its ticking UNH off.

That's all for now from Section 119, Row B, Seat 5.

I guess I never thought of a terrier as an anklebiter. And I hold Harvard in such high regard that anklebiter seems appropriate. Thanks for the score update.

Like I said...

Dartmouth scores, :39 in, to go up 3-2. Shot from the top of the zone, beat Digi hi, looked like.

Re: UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

And Merrimack beat Alabama-Huntsville today, 7-0, following last night's effort during which they spotted A-H 3 goals, and then proceeded to outscore them 4-1 in the 3rd. 46 SOG last night, and 47 today...

Still BU 3 HC 1 after 2.
UMA 4 UML 0.
NU-UVM scoreless.

Re: UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

DC scores 39 seconds into the third and it's 3-2 Big Green.

Re: UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

Man we really need to stop scheduling these ECAC teams, we just can't beat them.

Re: UNH at Dartmouth - 01/15/11 The Battle for the Riverstone

Tied at 3-3. Henrion picked up a loose puck and ripped it top shelf. Right place, right time. Sorkin gets the only assist.

9:06.
