91-115-27FIRE MIKE SOUZA
I'll go ahead and say it, "hang a banner"91-115-27
One winning season, one 0.500 season, five losing seasons
8th, 9th, 10th, 9th,, 10th, t5th, 10th in HEA standings; avoided HEA cellar all seven seasons
So if you had lost your game would you have still come over here to throw salt in our woundsMy tribute to UNH is that you guys managed to write 93 pages about this team and season. A team that won just 5 league games. Props. C ya in October.
Who's Charmin??? And I was saying the same thing about the game...not surprised at the end. Usually I'm pretty bummed but for some reason not so much. Almost expected at this point I guess. And there you have it folks, another season lost. Rico who probably feels the most pain should be hailed as a hero the last 3 weeks. UNH gave up 40 shots tonight, most of them quality chances. To make it to OT is actually impressive being outplayed all night long.
The LeClerc line and Sweeney line played well. Even Fitzy had a decent game other than tripping himself on the blue line. But when you play a defensive game and play on your heals all night this is what happens. Shifts were too long which led to the first goal, a terrible slash by Devlin, and Charmin being Charmin, you end in this situation.
I was not going to BC next weekend either way but would have loved to see them have a chance to make the garden. Now we wait for a freshman class announcement and begin the countdown for two more years of this.
Would have been heading to BC I believe with UMass over UVM. Doesn't matter now!Good night Irene...sigh
Welp it would have been a long trip to Maine but was hoping for at least the chance.
Bring it baby!!!!FORE!!!!!!! (C'mon, someone had to say it?)
Best of luck to our graduating senior class!! Thank for the memories, and warm wishes on wherever your future hockey careers take you.
Transfer Portal door opening in 3.......2........1.....................
EDIT: AND Y'ALL READY FOR TWO MORE YEARS OF FUN IN DURHAM????![]()

Maine? And yes no matter...Would have been heading to BC I believe with UMass over UVM. Doesn't matter now!
BC gets the lowest remaining seed which would have been UNH with UVM losing. UML heads to Maine with Northeastern, the lowest seed, going to Chestnut Hill.Maine? And yes no matter...
Ph duh I get it thanks...and like you said no matter!!BC gets the lowest remaining seed which would have been UNH with UVM losing. UML heads to Maine with Northeastern, the lowest seed, going to Chestnut Hill.
HR, Hockey East reseeds after every round, we would have gone to BC.Good night Irene...sigh

Yes thanks made an assumption and we all know what that means..Glad now because I would have had to endure with my BC alum brother in law...HR, Hockey East reseeds after every round, we would have gone to BC.
That would be Conmy. Soft as 2-ply. You are fighting for your season and no physicality at all. I don’t expect him to be aggressive like Walsh Or Lavins but the continued effort to avoid contact leads to turnovers and the inability to have pressure. If you watch closely as he nears a corner or the boards he will turn away. Hes not Bedard level good enough to play this way.Who's Charmin??? Kudos to Rico!! At least he ends his UNH brief career knowing he made a difference and gave fans some hope (albeit brief) at the end. And thanks again to our Seniors/grad students..Wishing you well!
Now in addition to wondering who's coming we will soon see who's leaving...
This is an interesting take on Conmy. I actually felt his physicality increased as the season progressed, to no benefit. As I mentioned previously, I found the biggest limiting factor on his game (which was glaring last night) was his unwillingness to move the puck on zone entry and always try and dangle. He draws a lot of attention from opposing teams which allows time and space for his linemates and he didn't take advantage as best he could. Not sure if it was selfishness, bad coaching, or lack of trust in his teammates. Probably some combination of all of the above. That would be Conmy. Soft as 2-ply. Yes, I think that MS7 will make avoidance of the HEA cellar all seven of his seasons as head coach a centerpiece in his contract extension campaign two years from now, unless as someone posted above he already has the extension.I'll go ahead and say it, "hang a banner"![]()
