Going the other direction...Ryan Black was a fun story during the '22 season.Who doesn’t love a good Travis Banga tale and his time as the BMOC at New England College?

True ‘dat. No athletic schollie money at Div 3 schools, only financial aid, and tuition at many Div 3 schools is pricey. Is this true? I remember a couple going D3 but the majority I can recall have gone D1.
Some/most of them, at least in the past, would already consider themselves "exiled" (I suspect Babbage fits that description this year). What's UNH's position on those who do enter and aren't picked up? Are you exiled?
The only thing missing from yesterday's hostage video was a blindfold. It's not a pretty picture in Durham these days, even their fundraising videos are super sketchy ...![]()
I think #5 is one of those persistent questions haunting the future of mankind, so I'll settle for a shot at #7 ...MS7 probably set an obstacle course worthy of American Ninja Warrior for potential transfers to navigate.
1. Meet the plummeting academic standards for UNH admission.
2. Escape a post game A Lot in five minutes or less.
3. Succesfully identify the year UNH last made the NCAAs (kids today aren't good with ancient history)
4. Create a social media campaign so viral, MS7 comes out of the Witness Protection Program, runs for Durham Town Council but settles Assistant Director of The Rec Department overseeing Saturday morning soccer with the five year olds.
5. Explain the allure of Dippin' Dots, the ice cream of the future
6. Deliver the names of every friend, family member and rich person they know and the promise they'll give generously to the locker room upgrades expected to be completed by 2039
7. Write a limerick about Blue Skies and our AD, fka SB, and their culpability in destroying a program.
8. Refuse scholarship money and insist on paying tuition out of pocket and footing the bill for his own equipment.
9. Understand the concept of shooting the puck during a powerplay.
10. Actually wanting to come to UNH
The Gophers were the #1 seed that year and what happened a week later at the West Regional in Ralph Engelstad on March 24th was one of the biggest upsets in NCAA history. I was not there, but Sioux friends told me that everyone in the arena was madly screaming for the Crusaders to win, of course. The Sioux beat the Crusaders the next day for a trip to the FF.
Oh, Buford, now you're writing poetry. Remember the tale you spun a few weeks ago to us about how you attended a very important mediation with prominent lawyers and a retired judge as part of your job? You discussed VERY important legal matters with them and they told you that Potluck was wrong and you were right. There once was a head coach named Souza
Whose teams often produced a snoozer
But his boss Sugar Britches
Couldn't offer others riches
So their program's now a regular loser
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the original remark...but in the last 3 years the outgoing portal commits break down like this:True ‘dat. No athletic schollie money at Div 3 schools, only financial aid, and tuition at many Div 3 schools is pricey.

Name ANY hockey coach who has had 10 years of failure and was not replaced.
Actually, the limerick took me about five (5) minutes to post. Amazing what can be done with an agile mind ... but I wouldn't expect you to understand.Oh, Buford, now you're writing poetry. I reminded you that you're unemployed and the "meeting" with the lawyers was simply a Delirium Tremens induced delusion from your years of alcohol abuse. In reality, you were in your basement wearing your Krog mustard stained UNH jersey and knocking down whiskey nips.
Since then you have been pretty much have been posting all day long about UNH hockey? Must have taken you three hours to come up with the poetry.
What a coincidence (not) ...Hilary Witt
Buford, the reason I am slapping you and Elwood a/k/a JB around is you two are pretentious phonies and have it coming. You two have treated Souza like garbage. Zero class. I also know you don't know your stuff. I'm just doing the same to you and I have drawn blood. Good for me. Your subpeona comment has everyone on this board laughing.Actually, the limerick took me about five (5) minutes to post. As to the "very important mediation", I'm almost certain I never described it as "very important". It's just part of the day job, and FWIW something I get paid nicely to do often, for a few decades now, if I'm not monitoring civil trials and attending high-level customer meetings. Kinda like Grouchy, if slightly poorer.
Something you may want to contemplate, seeing as I'm a real person on here (unlike you) with a real life and real friends, is how much time you're planning to spend in court yourself, seeing as you seem to enjoy spinning libelous barbs from the comfort of anonymity. Trust me, I have WAY more important stuff to spend my free time on, but with retirement not far off, a well-crafted subpoena to the USCHO admins could land your sorry @$$ in a boatload of
Other than calling a spade a spade on some of your sillier prattling. I've tried to give you space, but you continue to stalk folks like norbie, JB and myself with your tedious schtick. I've never ever blocked anyone, on any site, so if that's your goal, you're gonna be disappointed. You could have come to the Regional with the rest of your MA pals to say hi and meet us - better, far more creative posters have taken this approach in the past, and many of us are still friends - but you didn't. So you're an ECHL-level beta keyboard warrior. Your option, pal ... you do you.
Suggestion? Do (way) better, or accept the grace you've been offered. Otherwise, please seek help. I mean that, sincerely ...
He is not a good coach pothead. The bottom line is, this is a fan forum and being critical of a coach with very little success over the past 10 years is fair game. You are pretty hypocritical. Two flatearther Maga flunkies like you and Elwood deserve a slap every now and then. Good, perhaps your posting will be more empathetic to the players and coaches. FYI, what irritated me the most was the people on here that begrudged Souza for earning a relatively ordinary paycheck. I never heard of the man lying, cheating or abusing anyone. He works and takes care of his family.
He's, albeit from my removed perspective, a gentleman. He even met with Norbert last year, which must have been embarrassing for Souza. I only met Souza once (very briefly) but I know a few people that speak very highy of him.
Oh, and your notion that I am a guy named "Mike" or that I am connected to the UNH program is just an example of your relentless stupidity.
Considering the average US salary is approximately $60k a year and MS7 makes 4x that, perhaps you're the one out of touchBuford, the reason I am slapping you and Elwood a/k/a JB around is you two are pretentious phonies and have it coming. The average worker has close to no responsibility. Naturally there's some or the job wouldn't exist but very little. Souza is running a major D1 hockey program and getting paid a bottom end salary to do so. A school of thought, the smart school, says UNH is getting precisely what it's paying for. The lowest paid coach in HE. The lowest budget in HE. Bottom tier facilities in HE. One of the poorest performing programs in HE. Any person outside of NH can see the issue. NH residents, well, let's just say they tend to justify being cheap and, well, lets say unexplored by pointing fingers and not taking personal responsibility.Considering the average US salary is approximately $60k a year and MS7 makes 4x that, perhaps you're the one out of touch
