UNE gets slapped by the NCAA...

Re: $$$ .and. ¢¢

Re: $$$ .and. ¢¢

Most schools require that the final 30 (for semester schools) or 45 (for quarter schools) credits be taken at the school giving the degree. Special arrangements can be made sometimes for unusual circumstances. I remember that Nick Cote transferred from MCLA to NU to complete his senior year when MCLA dropped hockey, but arrangements were made in advance so that his credits would transfer back and he could graduate from MCLA.

SUNY Plattsburgh's policy is:

SUNY Plattsburgh will accept up to 67 credits completed at a two-year college.

The maximum that SUNY Plattsburgh will accept is 84 credits, provided that at least 17 of the credits are completed at a four-year college.

An EXTREMELY important caveat however means that nearly EVERY transfer student with much more than 50 credits will end up graduating with more than 125 credits - the cavaet is:

Once a course has been accepted for transfer credit, it is evaluated to determine whether it will be placed as a direct equivalent or a departmental elective. Direct equivalents are equal to a specific course offered by SUNY Plattsburgh. Departmental electives are those courses accepted for transfer to a specific department, but no equivalent course exists.
...
For a course to be placed as a direct equivalent, it must sufficiently match the content offered in the SUNY Plattsburgh class. This includes both the content being taught as part of the course, as well as the desired learning outcomes of the class itself.

Additionally -
*Senior Residency Requirement: Thirty of your last 36 credits must be taken in courses offered through Plattsburgh State.

Every student must meet the Overall Degree Requirements - a minimum of 120 (which is 84+36) but typically ~125 degree credits. - Except for approved 2+2 programs (example) I seriously doubt anyone has successfully completed a 4yr degree at Plattsburgh with only 36 Plattsburgh credits.

In other words - If a student does not come back to a school for their senior year, they are going to have to spend at least two years elsewhere, because they are unlikely to be able to transfer their last year courses back and meet a senior residency requirement, and you can't get a degree (most places) with a single year at an institution.

With all those home games its a bargin!!! Just drove by Utica..I think they were having another home game!! lol

More like Whitesboro HS graduation.... Then again about half of those people are at the games anyway, so not a whole world of difference.
