I'm guessing about half of those tix are in the "less desirable" areas being the outfield seats and behind home plate.

There are a lot of UND fans in general going. 90% of my friends from college are going, whether they live in Oregon, Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota or Minnesota.

Everybody I talked to on the UND side said they weren't going cause tickets were too expensive. I say just get yourself in the **** stadium if you find it too expensive, bring some binoculars and a flask and be a part of the experience

That the same bachelor party that Pump it Up is going with? I've been to Omaha a couple times and we'll be living it up pretty big this weekend too, but sadly I can't recommend many places... I just drunkenly followed my crowd and don't remember many establishment's names. :D

Yep. I'm not worried we are staying in Council Bluffs across the street from the Horseshoe Casino and a cab drive to the performing arts theatre.

Good call. Last trip we looked up strip clubs and it looks like all the ones near the rink (we don't drive at all once we get into the hotel) sucked, yet in Council Bluffs and further into Iowa, QUITE the different story. Council Bluffs also has the casinos and I forget which one it is but the poker room in whichever casino has it is pretty decent.

I have never personally been there, but the ONLY place around here like what you are describing that I am told is worthwhile is:

A sales guy that calls on my place of business, that goes to such places a lot, tells me it is as good of a place like it as he has ever been in the Midwest, for whatever that's worth.

There are no actual topless bars in the city limits of Omaha. Nudity is verboten. There are "gentleman's" clubs and that's probably what you went to (and very few of them at that). I haven't been in any of these places in Omaha in years since all my buddies got married (me, included) and the whole bachelor party "routine" ended.

Caveat emptor.

Spearmint Rhino by the Airport is a good place! It's in Iowa so they are allowed to be topless. The playhouse is nice there is a $20 cover charge and it is byob but they do sell beer as well. As far as drinking establishments most of the bars in the Old Market are good. Horseshoe has an excellent poker room.

Digressing from the Omaha area strip club scene retrospective, if I remember correctly, Cornelison was supposed to sing the anthem one night here last season here (the Sell-out Duluth game, maybe?), but didn't do it. I was told that weather caused him flight issues. Maybe this is a makeup.

On the weather forefront, it looks like the rain will hold off until after the game right now. Windy and about 50 at game time. Warm enough to make people say, "let's go" since I think there are a lot of people on the weather fence.

Can you tell me if beer or liquor is served at either venue this weekend?
