In the past three weekends, the "super conference" has won 11 and lost 2 in games against those teams left behind in the WCHA.

Most of us will miss the WCHA. There is some great tradition there. But once the big boys in the big ten made their decision, changes were bound to happen. We move on.

You said they had a 57% winning record against the teams left behind. Even if we include the UNO-UAH games (UAH was left behind a long time ago) I think the NCHC had a 7-4-1 record last weekend against the "left behind" teams. If you think that equates to 57%, I suggest you get out your pen and paper again.

For further clarification:
UND 2-0 vs. UAA
UMD 2-0 vs. MTU
WMU 2-0 vs. Ferris St.
UNO 1-1 vs. UAH
SCSU 0-1-1 vs. BSU
Miami 0-2 vs. NMU

My guess is you counted CC's win vs. DU as a win for those left behind, and a loss for the NCHC. But, of course, that would be silly since they are both NCHC teams.

Let me know if you need additional "evidence."

If the "super league" you refer to is the NCHC, then the teams left behind are Alaska, Tech, Mankato, and Bemidji. The teams forming the new national conference had no control over what the Big Ten teams did and who was left behind by that decision. The NCHC's teams' record against the remaining teams in the WCHA was pretty one-sided. Does that make the change preferrable? Probably not, but the implication was that the National conference would not be that strong. It seems there will be fewer soft games in that conference schedule than any conference in the country.

7-4-1 is what I used. When figuring winning percentage using ties it's 7.5 divided by 12. Try that once and see what you get. Rinkpig is a way better troll then you.
