Sort of. The problem was my mom hung the banner way to soon and had to take it down in shame after I got expelled. *sigh*

That's not very nice. Remember when Gopher fans were all hot and bothered because cross cheque posted a picture of one of their fans? I do. Just remember that the individual you mock is someone's son. He might even be a Gopher fan. For shame.

Anyway, glad to see Gopher Nation (copyright Tim Brewster) descend upon this thread. I just looked through the Minnesota/Penn State series thread and I for one do not blame them at all. Welcome.

I don't blame them. It's a big series. Two heavyweights to decide the champion of the best conference in college hockey.
This will probably be the most popular series thread of the season.

I think the NCHC is off to a decent start. To call it the best conference in college hockey is a bit premature. Hockey East appears the strongest at this point.

Regardless, this is going to be a great series. Is it true that this will be UND's first series on Olympic ice this season?

I would have said they played at CC but they haven't so yes I believe this is the first series on the big pond. You are right though, this will be a great weekend of rivals tied for the top spot in the first year of the league and as usual UND will have a lot of fans making the trip to see the decadence of the freshly painted ringside spit bucket known as the NHC.
