puffy is going to transfer to North Dakota, they like jailbirds and drunks up there. hakstool will probably put him on the team.

it's Tuesday, isn't it about time for UND fans to start complaining about the refs?

But I looked at the list of ice hcokey games and they list a 5 pm game friday MN v UND (Women's) and an 8 PM ET MN v UD (Women's). I assume the 8 o'clock game is men's, and not a replay, but I really don't want to pay even three dollars for a women's game when the men are playing. Does anyone know for sure this is the Men's game and can tell me if it is worth even $3? (My wife will think I am even more nuts if I sit and watch the computer for 3 hours.)

Looked it up. Both games on BTN are UND/UMN Women's Hockey on Jan. 22-23. I think you got the dates and gender wrong.

I'm going to the Cities to watch these games. Unfortunately It's in a living room surrounded by Goofer loving Relatics.:D

So, are they really doing video casts for two women's games in the same weekend, but ARE NOT even offering video for the MN-UND men's game they cover???? I hate them more every year. How can that make economic sense?

Then again, there are only four of them. Two of which are defenseman. One was out for 6 weeks with a broken jaw, the other is getting little ice time. But, still. I expected Budish and Birkholz to have bit more of an impact.

I for one, will never again be jumping on the "this freshman will take us to the promised land he is absolutely sick" bandwagon ever again. I will just assume that they will play a role, but nothing special in their first season. Anything more is a bonus at this point.

The problem is if they don't do anything as freshmen they often don't do anything later either.

I don't think they like strung out crack addicts like Minnesota does. See Hagemo, Hirsch, Puffy, Mazzocco

I guess you missed the fact that Minnesota has won two, yes, two, national championships since UND won one. 10 years of choking is the only excuse I can see for a team with as much talent, god even, as UND has had in that time period.

it is just like title 9, it doesn't make sense, but BTN pledged to show as many hours of women's sports as mens.

Given how many years it has been since UMN won a title, I would classify both schools as "chokers" recently.
10 years for UND, 7 years for UMN. Both schools have had some very talented teams during that span, but neither has brought home the big trophy.
A couple Broadmoor's and MacNaughton's thrown in there, but not the most coveted trophy.

And how special it is for Minnesota to finally have 5 NCs, 2 more and they can tie UND but until then keep "choking" on your lackluster seasons.

No, they're just victims of East Coast Bias.

Sad to find this on Page 2, I expected more hatred from Sioux fans seeing Minnesota as what's wrong with hockey and vice versa. Either way, it's put up or shut up time for the U this weekend and I'm looking forward to two good rivalry games (and one that's actually in HD!).
