UND Fighting Hawks 2019 Off-season Thread

Re: UND Fighting Hawks 2019 Off-season Thread

No, because in Real Estate it's location, location, location, and the "land of the one tree" is not good location.

Mooch/3M is the best location for a rink where no fans go to watch,

I feel a real bond developing here, Happy. The land of the one tree and the rink of the one fan.

How about that PP? ****es me off that Berry put up with the terrible PP last year.

We don't know what the power play will do against the kind of competition they will face once the conference schedule starts. Hopefully, it will look more like last night.

One thing: It looks like Pinto might be a possession guy who can make a difference on the PP. And if Mismash and Kawaguchi continue to progress, we might have something.

UND drew its largest paid attendance for a preseason exhibition game in program history at 11,760. It barely eclipsed the previous record of 11,706, which was set in 2016 for the NCAA national championship banner-raising night. UND has only sold out three preseason exhibitions in The Ralph, and they all came in the last four years. See the full chart below.

That was so hard to watch the last few years. Only way to go is up. Didn’t watch a second of the game as I had a prior commitment. What freshman stood out?

Pinto was the top performer - he looks like the real deal. Feeney looked solid but didn't see a lot of action.
