Agreed. And I'm feeling kinda pert, since I said earlier I was optimistic. 'Course, compared to Swami, Capt. Smith of the Titanic was an optimist. :D

Sad thing is they probably will try to beat them up lol...

I hope Chay does play, but he will have to try to get past Will Weber who just smokes people. And with us scoring two SHG tonight we will a play special teams battle with you. Everything else we will get into at a later date, but good luck shutting down ALL the weapons we have....:D

Apparently redhawkman10 is not very familiar with this rivalry. These teams don't like each other, plain and simple. This kind of crap happens every time they play each other, and DU goons it up with the best of 'em.

No I do get it, Im more or less just feeding the frenzy. Take a lot of what Im saying with tounge and cheek. Just fueling Brian and Dirty, and its kind of fun. :D

Andrew MacWilliam and Ben Blood will knock every Hurricane out of the game. If any survive, Brett Hextall will irritate them to death.

You're far from 'fueling' either of us.
Miami will be pretty intimidated when they come into the Ralph. We have these things called banners there...they're pretty cool. Miami should think of adding some of those to their rink once the dynasty starts. And unlike the CCHA, WCHA rinks actually have these things called fans that show up. :D

LOL the last part is true for sure.

Justin Vaive and all 6 foot 6 of him as well as Will Weber and Joe Hartman standing 6 foot 4 each and not affraid to use it. So they can try their best to knock anyone out but will be unsuccessful, just ask Michigan who tried it and got smoked!!

awe too bad, Michigan has plenty of those banners as well and they went in there and swept them. They will not be intimidated, they have played in some hostile buildings already this year.

Miami sounds slow. Another advantage for UND. Those slow big guys can't hit what they can't catch. And they certainly won't keep up with Chay.
No offense, but everyone is smoking Michigan right now.

touche on the last comment.

And they are far from slow, they have experience on the big ice and out skated UNH on the big ice in Durham. Also they out skated DU and UMD on the big ice last year. Speed isn't a problem with this team, they may be big but they can skate...

Once again, Michigan isn't doing so well this year. Miami seems to be the only decent team in the CCHA. They should rename it the CHA.

Lighten up? I thought we were just having fun? :p :D

The Ralph has NHL-sized ice, not Olympic.
Unless they want to play on the Ralph's side Olympic sheet. But there is only seating in there for a couple thousand fans, so it will seem more at home for Miami. :D

Decent team?? lol oh boy, Sparty is back this year....

Ohio St. shut out Denver and they aren't that good...look at the record between the conferences, CCHA is deeper this year. We swept St. Cloud already this year and they went into the Ralph and took it to you on saturday... :rolleyes:

Nice joob by Cheverie in goal in his first game back after being injured. He was the first star. Drew Shore, who scored the game;s only goal, was the number two star.

With that said, the best player on the ice for Denver tonight was Chris Nutini, period. Best game I've seen him play in his career. Terrific defense in his own zone, made superb first passes to help DU break out of its own zone, carried the puck well to initiate breakouts by himself. If that was a demonstration of how Nutini will play the rest of the year DU has found itself another solid blueliner. Nice job young man.
