If you have one of the best players in college hockey and suddenly take him out of the lineup, it hurts the team. Who would have guessed?
That said, I wish that this team could pick up the slack for his absence, but they haven't been able to fully...yet.

Imagine if Lasch were injured in Nov due to a cheapshot and hadn't played since. Do you think the Huskies would still be sitting where they are without his 33 points and 15 goals?

One horrible decision does not a goon make. You're telling me you've never got caught up in the action and done something if you'd sat down and thought about for 15 seconds you wouldn't have? You guys have seen Marvin in 9 games at most, so I don't really care about your analysis of him, but take it from someone who's seen him for 3 seasons, that hit was a) completely wrong, I'm not disputing that and b) completely out of character.

Also, if you want to make your comparison, it would be better to say that you losing Genoway is like if we have Raboin taken out, not Lasch.

Again, was talking about his career, not one night in North Dakota. Hell, if we're all judged by one night in North Dakota, most of us should be jailed or deported!

You guys need to let this go, and Skeeter's her somewhere to help. Colon cleansings for all! They come with a lot of emotional support and healing powers. Seriously, you guys going on about this would be like if we still brought up that Mark Hartigan should've won the Hobey Baker. (Editors Note: Jordan Leopold is still a no-talent ***-clown, and Harty was ROBBED111)

Truth be told, neither Lasch nor Raboin make a very good comparison.
Neither of them are among the best dmen in the country. :p

If you are not smart enough to understand that UND players have taken cheap shots every bit as bad as Marvin's hit then I guess there is no reason to discuss it. It is a fluke that chay has been out all year. I feel bad for the kid, but it is done and over with. If you want to pretend your team has never never tried to purposely hurt another player you are a fool becuase I have seen it. Marvin was playing hard and made a bad move to hit him from behind, but there is no doubt in my mind he wasn't trying to end the guy's career or even hurt him. If you can't see that it says a lot about you.

We respect your program, your team is tied for 9th in the pwr. These two games will either make or break our seasons, so lets just show much respect for each other and enjoy watching the rodents spiral out of contention.

Dirty, we were going to have former coach Craig Dahl give the Fighting Sioux the pre-game peptalk. Now I don't know how we can be more congenialthan that.
