Not even getting that: just got a black screen and it happened during the kickoff return.
Mine went to commercial as they were getting ready to kickoff. The message was to the effect of needing to change to the regional coverage. Lame. Almost as bad as watching a lacrosse game!

If the Vikings didn't have Brett Favre they wouldn't have been ahead in the first place for the Ravens to miss that field goal.

Go Brett Favre!!!!!

I felt like I was watching a team from the Denny Green era...

This year the number is five and a half.

It took five and a half games before someone realized they should just throw the ball. Just whip it downfield. You will have a chance to win. Trust me, just try it.

Congratulations on your excellent start, Vikings fans.

When was the last time this happened? Oh, that's right. This year:

GE wins the thread! :D

If people are this whiny after a Vikings win how bad will it be when they finally lose?
The Whine Line will be epic...:D

:D :D :D
Thankfully, that wouldn't be a catch this year...plus, the dynamic duo of Josh McCown and Nate Poole is no longer. :D

So Mr, Phunn is a friend of mine and I talked to him a couple weeks ago......he can't believe how much less stressed he his & how he now enjoys Sunday afternoons now that he doesn't have to host that crap.

They guy they replaced him with is awful though.

I think I may see Joe next weekend actually at a wedding...I know my life after local broadcast media was a lot nicer too.

Crack is like bacon, it makes everything better. So yes, Puffy is enjoying life.

Good guy, see him mostly at school/hockey stuff. His kids go to my daughter's school and he replaced me on the board of the local hockey association - and he's probably POed at me because I forgot to go to the fundraiser they had a few weeks ago. :o

Won't know me as the old eagle, though. :)

The bad news is they almost pizzed that game away, the good news is they dominated for 3 and 1/2 quarters. The bad news is that after an early two TDs, the offense stalled for the rest of the 1st half, the good news is they continued to mix in a number of different receivers and the running game looked improved. Not a great game by any stretch but a win. They better shore up the lack of killer instinct problem if they hope to win either of the next two games. PIT is too well coached and GB will be better with Clifton back and ready for revenge.

I think the biggest reason that Baltimore was able to do that was that Winfield got hurt sometime during the second quarter and didn't return (thanks to the idiots in the booth who didn't bother to even mention that). Paymah came in to replace him and was absolutely torched by Flacco and the WR, don't remember his name. I know that doesn't excuse the lack of a run defense late in the game, but as for the passing downfield, I think you can pretty much attribute it to Winfield's absence. No clue on how long he's out, but I heard its turf toe, which probably isn't good. I think this game showed that he's the true anchor of this defense.
