UML Recruiting: Finally in the 20s!

I'm going to go all the way to through the 2020 class on this page just because I try and keep a look out two years ahead. I'm completely guessing on some of these players entry dates, based on where I think they are in their development (based mainly on stats). Every current commit is now listed as coming in over these two years.

What this shows is that we should hopefully start seeing some commits for 2022/2023, as Lowell will have 12 seniors graduating prior to that season.

I hope boblav1 doesn't mind me starting the stat tracker this season. Any corrections are welcomed.

Good to see him get off to a great start. His numbers weren't all that great in a more offensive league last year, so moving up a level and doing better ... is a good sign.

He's currently 4th in the league in scoring, tied for 3rd in goals, and tied for 3rd in +/-.

No problem, great job. If anyone knows an easier or better way to keep track and update the better.

Re: UML Recruiting: Finally in the 20s!

Both Lowell threads are pretty dead ... weird.

Anyway, today's the first day of the early NLI signing period.

Re: UML Recruiting: Finally in the 20s!

Doesn't the early signing period continue indefinitely?
I had thought the early signing period is one week (at least it is for basketball and football)? I know a couple of years ago, it was only one week (CHI link). I could be wrong now though.
The early signing period for the National Letter of Intent (NLI) for hockey student-athletes entering college in 2018-19 begins November 8 and runs for one week (the regular period begins April 11).

Re: UML Recruiting: Finally in the 20s!

Well thank you and HHound very much for the correction. Greatly appreciate it!

You are quite welcome. We, at NU, are entirely to familiar with the powers of the NLI. If you recall, our former AD allowed himself to be bullied into releasing a scrawny kid named Gaudreau from his NLI with no strings attached. He then went to BC where he helped them to win the Frozen 43 and picked up the Hobey for himself. The curse was lifted when Mr. Roby the AD a.k.a. "the Hockey Assassin" retired on 2/1/18. Within the next two weeks, the team won its first Beanpot in 30 years and then won it again last year, just for good measure. He won't be missed.

Good luck on your season. It seems like Norm has found some good freshman who are majoring in Hockey chemistry. And to think your posters kept complaining early last year that he hadn't announced anyone.;)
