Mike Conderman had two assists and was the Third Star in Muskegon's 4-3 won over Chicago last night.

Scott Wilson had an assist for Georgetown, as they finally won (3-2) in their playoff series, which now stands at 3-1.

Chris Eiserman seems to be settling down a bit, giving up 3 goals on 32 shots as Valley Jr. Warriors won 9-3 over Capital District last night.

Tyler Brickler had no points, but Westside won 4-2 in the BCHL playoffs, tying their series at 1-1.

Colton Saucerman had an assist as Corpus Christi won 4-3 in the NAHL.

Scott Wilson's season ended, as Georgetown got a 5-2 beatdown in Game 5 against Oakville. He had no points today.

Tyler Brickler scored a goal for Westside to tie game three of their playoff series at 3, but Westside gave up the winning goal just 16 seconds later. They're down 2-1 in the series.

Terrence Wallin had two assists in a 5-4 OT win over Groton in the New England Prep Small School Tournament. He will play New Hampton on Saturday at the ICenter in Salem, NH. He now has a line of 9-17-26 in 15 games.

Thanks for the update.

Cushing will not be heading to Salem as they lost to Salisbury 7-2 yesterday. Corey Scammon ended the season with 24 points (5-19-24) in 30 games.

Terrence Wallin had 2 assists in a loss to the New Hampton School in the New England Prep Small School Semi Finals. He finished the season with 9-19-28 in 16 games.

The two UML recruits playing in the BCHL will be facing off in the playoffs, as Tyler Brickler's Westside Warriors won their first round playoff series 4-3, and will now play Malcolm Lyles and the Vernon Vipers who had a first round bye.

Brickler had a 1-3-4 in 7 games in the first round.

One thing that would help this program is the families that have sent a couple of generations through here, and we're seeing some of that ... but we also need to keep the kids that have the potential to be stars at the college level, kids like the youngest Eiserman and also Rob Badger's brother who's been pretty highly recruited. The younger Badger just committed to Maine for either 2013 or 2014.

I'm not sure if Lowell went after him or not, and would be extremely disappointed in the staff if they didn't go after the brother of a kid that's playing at Lowell, and who's father played at Lowell.

They've generally not gone after the younger kids because Lowell just doesn't have the ability to a) recruit too many of those kids and b) can't afford to have those kids flop. Right or wrong, that's been the reasoning.

Chris Eiserman's season came to an end as the Warriors lost to the Monarchs. Eiserman appears to have won the starting netminder's position though, playing in all four of the playoff games. Eiserman won both games of the first round series over Philadelphia, 4-1 and 4-2. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to help pull off the upset over the Monarchs, but he finished the playoffs with a 2-2 record, an impressive 94.3% save rate, but a 2.73 GAA. He had 165 saves in four games ... wow. The closest goalie in regards to saves has 105 in the playoffs ... and that's in 5 games. Talk about facing a shooting gallery.

On the other end of that series, Chris Cowles had an assist while playing in both games of the Monarchs sweep.

The Vernon Vipers picked up some hardware at the Best Western Vernon Lodge.

They hope there will be more to come as they embark on a B.C. Hockey League Fred Page Cup title defence, which started against the Westside Warriors Tuesday night at Wesbild Centre.

Game 2 of the best-of-seven Interior Conference semifinal goes tonight in Vernon, after which the series heads to West Kelowna for Games 3 and 4 Friday and Saturday night respectively at Royal LePage Place.

At the banquet, heart-and-soul captain David Robinson was named Most Valuable Player. The 20-year-old captain, who led the Snakes with 32 regular-season goals, also earned the Coldstream Truck Parts Shorthanded Goals Scholarship.

Malcolm Lyles’ explosive style helped him pick up both the Fan Favorite and Top Defenceman Awards. Hands down the Vipers’ hardest hitter, Lyles also led all Vernon defenders with eight goals for 30 points

Tyler Brickler had a goal an assist last night as Westside beat Veron 5-2. Malcolm Lyles had a goal for Vernon. The series is now tied at 1 game a piece.

Friday night in the USHL, Micki Mihailovich had a goal and Mike Conderman had an assist as Muskegon won 4-1. On the same night, Bill Eiserman was a -3 as Tri-City lost 4-3.

Saturday night, neither Mihailovich (-1) nor Conderman had a point in a 3-2 loss, while Eiserman was a -2 in a 6-2 loss.

Christian Cowles had a 1-2-3 in the Jr. Monarch's win over the Jr. Buins last night in the EJHL semis. He was named the second star.

On Friday night in the BCHL, Tyler Brickler had a 1-1-2 in Westside's victory over Vernon to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Malcolm Lyles had no points in the game for Vernon. On Saturday night, Vernon tied the series again with a 5-2 road win. Lyles had a goal, while Brickler had two assists.

It will be interesting to see if the kids that have committed for next year will still be entering the school in September.

Malcolm Lyles (1 assist) Other then a turnover in his own end, I thought Lyles played very solid on the Vipers blueline. Played very well defensively, made some real smart heads up plays through out tonights game. Was very hard to knock off the puck. Played smart hockey.

Lyles leads the Vernon D in scoring.

Have heard Peter Masters name, from the Boston Junior Bruins. Proven winner, great recruiter and connected for players. He will also probably be on any list that BC's Cavanaugh ends up on as they are very close. Masters was originaly offered the head ast job with MC back when MD took the job. Masters Junior Bruins org has put out several very good D 1 players, such as C Falite, his brother in law, Wild, Butler(both Al and Bobby), Henrion, Moses and many others. They also control the Beantown Classic and other high end recruiting tournaments so have the in roads to many top college prospects. Couple this with their summer AAA teams, who have some of the top players from 10-18 in the country, which in turns means they see the best of the best all summer long, you have a very knowledgeable guy. Problem would be if he wants to take the pay cut as his program kills it financially

I look for Tyler to have instant impact once he arrives at UML based on his age 91' and his skill set which will be well recieved and appreciated by UML staff and fans.

Malcolm on the other hand as an older 90' player competing against 91', 92', and 93' competition should help solidify the bottom end 6,7,8 players of the UML defensive core going forward. As dicussed in great detail before his struggles at BC getting ice time competing against his age group at the Hockey East level are well documented. He has no doubt benefited from being an overager playing against much younger competition which should help his confidence on the second time around. As some of the older talent has graduated from Hockey East his chances to play a role at the lower backend for UML look good from my perspective.

As stated before by me, you will be quite pleased with the new coach and the different direction he takes the program.

Are you hinting that you know who the next coach is? They haven't even interviewed anyone yet, so I'm not sure why you think that you know who the next coach will be.
