Sadly, same here.Thanks, that's what I figured.
The former defenseman talks about being inducted into the Hall, reflects on playing in the USHL and its impact on his career, discusses the growth of the League, and takes a look at the next generation of U.S. hockey players.
More on Vecchione.Sadly, same here.
Vecchione said he may still have to wait a year because it's late in the recruitment process and the money might not be there, but he's hoping something works out at the Division 1 level for next year.
More on Vecchione.

Wouldn't hurt Bazin to make a call, but I don't think we'd have a shot at him.More on Vecchione.

It'd be a place where his friends/family could come to not only the home games, but also to a lot of the local HE games. He'd get to play in the best HE arena (IMHO), and he'd get to play in an offensively aggressive environment, and it's a **** good school. I don't disagree at all. There's a lot to like about Lowell... in fact, what's not to like![]()

mv was top player in tri city camp and has been fighting injuries since buck bowl. Plays top 2 lines and pp. Not bad for a 93 in league loaded with 91's and 92's. Has missed several games with shoulder injury and will have a very good 2nd half. 8 + schools in hunt and visits lined up. Will end up in hockey east and have a better carear and bigger impact than any of teh other f's coming in.
While it is a large class, you have to wonder how much scholarship money is being used on these guys?Quote from hockydad on the UNH recruiting thread. It's too bad Lowell has such a big class coming in next season.
And his obvious skills have caught the attention of teammates, who elected him a captain this year, as well as many top college programs, including Hockey East schools Merrimack and UMass-Lowell.
Thank you for finding this.Came across this bit of info today on St. John's High forward Kevin Emmerling.

Meanwhile, No. 5 Woburn (2-1-1) scored a big victory in its quest to return to the Super Eight, knocking off No. 6 St. John’s Prep, 3-2, at O’Brien Rink. Danny Holland scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period for the Tanners on an assist from UMass-Lowell bound Casey Shea, who also netted his first goal of the season earlier in the game.
