Michael Fallon was named the second star in Chicago's 3-2 win over Indiana in the USHL. Fallon's third straight game with a goal and finished with a 1-1-2.

Greg Amlong was held scoreless but Cedar Rapids snapped a 6-game losing streak with a 2-1 win last night. UML commit Ryan McGrath still hasn't returned from his injury for Cedar Rapids (broken wrist).

In the BCHL, Michael Colantone was named the third star in Prince George's 3-2 OT win. He scored the first goal of the game. Logan Johnston had no points, but Penticton continues winning, taking their game 5-1 last night.

In the NAHL, Connor Hellenbuyck made 42 saves on 45 shots but Odessa lost 3-1. New Mexico and Adam Chapie lost 4-0 last night.

It'd be a place where his friends/family could come to not only the home games, but also to a lot of the local HE games. He'd get to play in the best HE arena (IMHO), and he'd get to play in an offensively aggressive environment, and it's a **** good school. I don't disagree at all.

Last night's report on UML commits:

In the USHL, Greg Amlong had no points (and was even) in Cedar Rapids 4-1 loss to the US U-17 squad. Michael Fallon's Chicago team lost 6-2, and while he did have an assist, his goal scoring streak ended at 3 games.

In the BCHL, Penticton won it's 17th straight game, this time with a 7-2 result, and Logan Johnston had two assists. Michael Colantone had no points, but his Prince George team did win 3-2.

In the NAHL, Adam Chapie was held scoreless, but New Mexico won 5-2. Odessa also lost 5-2, but Connor Hellebucyk was named the 2nd Star with 37 saves.

Has missed several games with shoulder injury and will have a very good 2nd half. 8 + schools in hunt and visits lined up. While it is a large class, you have to wonder how much scholarship money is being used on these guys?

Corey Scammon has 8 points (0-8-8) in 8 games. Cushing is currently 4-2-2 this season.

The BCHL resumed their season after the Christmas break and Michael Colantone had a natural hat trick and was the second star in Prince George's 4-2 win last night. Colantone is now 12th in the BCHL in scoring with a 18-27-45 in 34 games.

Big win for Woburn last night, from the Herald.

Meanwhile, No. 5 Woburn (2-1-1) scored a big victory in its quest to return to the Super Eight, knocking off No. 6 St. John’s Prep, 3-2, at O’Brien Rink. Danny Holland scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period for the Tanners on an assist from UMass-Lowell bound Casey Shea, who also netted his first goal of the season earlier in the game.
