UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Heard from a friend who's son played against Lawrence Academy, that one of the LA players had committed to Lowell. But can't find anything to verify.

Good night again for Lowell commits last night.
BCHL: Neaton with yet another shut out. He's now at a 91.6% save rate, with a 1.89 GAA.

CCHL: Sterrett had a 1-1-2 in Carleton Place's win (Friday).

USHL: Berglund and Chambers had an assist each in Sioux Falls win. Brown had an assist in Des Moines loss.

AJHL: Armstrong with an assist in Brooks 24th straight AJHL win.

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Former Lowell commit Trevor Zins commits to St. Cloud State.
This story is just so weird. Committed very young to Lowell, stuck out his commitment for years, then Lowell (I believe) said no, thanks ... and he winds up at the #1 ranked team in the country?

He's finally having a breakout season, but he's also 20 years old now. The BCHL article says St. Cloud is 30 minutes from his hometown. Maybe he's a walk on for that program?

It will be interesting to see how he does at St Cloud. He had a breakout season finishing 4th in the BCHL scoring for defensemen (12-34-46). He only had 10 points the prior season.
