No real surprises here although my rankings would be: BU, BC, UNH, Merrimack, Maine, UMA, Lowell, UVM, NU, PC.
Looking at the numbers for HE, the coaches believe it will be five teams for four home-ice spots. Big drop off after Merrimack.
Of the bottom five teams, UMA would be my dark horse to make some noise and finish better than expected. They have a lot of underrated talent and while I don't see them winning Hockey East. they are going to give some teams fits.
We could very well finish as high as sixth this year given my thoughts but that brutal start to the HE schedule undoubtably will have an negative impact and preclude that from happening.
