UML 2019/2020: Underclassmen Reign

I wonder how they will manage with cases going up and restrictions in all the States increasing. LOTS of testing but we have all seen how well that worked for the NFL (tests daily)

I'm with you on this virus, as you and I have discussed in multiple places.

But I do feel that some of these leagues are doing something right, with all the junior leagues now also playing and haven't heard anything specific about games being cancelled. Possible I could have missed those though.

I read some stuff on OHL proposals which made me laugh in regards to going "no checking"... I mean those 8 hour bus rides aren't going to spread COVID but body checking sure will... riiiiiiiight...

is there an alumni update floating around out there... messing around with nhl21 and I figure the last few years I might be able to stock a full roster of riverhawks after AHL, ECHL, and international

Hockey East schedule will be released on Wednesday. Season will start next Friday, 11/20. Conference games only, which means each weekend one team will have a bye. I've heard that Lowell will be the team that is off for the 1st weekend of the season, so we'll have to wait for the day after Thanksgiving for the season opener.

VT just went into lockdown except for essential travel- 2 wk quarantine if coming or going. I wonder if science or the need to play a game will win when it comes to rules. Betting they are willing to ignore what is right and let people travel.

A SI writer put together the Top 100 College Hockey Players to watch, with a heavy emphasis on NHL potential. Two Lowell players made the list (64- Freshmen Ben Meehan, 94- Andre Blake), along with one player that transferred out of Lowell (Garrett Metcalf, LIU, 86).

It will be interesting to see how many games actually get played with the virus out of control. The ECAC is down to 6 teams as the Ivy league teams have cancelled their season. RIT and Alaska Anchorage have also cancelled their season.

Army just postponed home games on Saturday, Nov. 14 vs. LIU and Friday, Nov. 20 vs. Holy Cross due to the virus.

We have at least one team in our league struggling to comprehend the need for safety that has shut down twice. Can't find anything when I google so apparently it has been hushed

UVM is delaying the start of sports till December 18th at least. So here's the first issue for Hockey East.
