Just looking at CHN... Is canisus really on the schedule?

I thought about training up for the catamount cup but the logistics don't look right

Training starts today with trip to Maine, glad the hotel for tonight doesn't have to go to waste. I guess tomorrow will be long day though, anything to do in Bangor?

Gamble at the casino. Do your Christmas shopping at the mall. The game is late enough in the day that you can visit Bar Harbor. Pregame at Pat's Pizza or The Governor's.

When I looked last week tomorrows game was shown to be on WBIN TV, now it appears to only be on WVII (Local Bangor). FCS doesn't have it on their schedule. Does anyone in Lowell area know a regular cable station to watch it on? A bar maybe?

I'm still seeing the Maine game on my Comcast program guide as being on FCS Atlantic at 4:00 pm. That's Channel 262 on Comcast.

When all the games from this weekend are wrapped up, Lowell will have a ridiculous number of games on hand over the rest of Hockey East.

At the conclusion of the Dec. 8 game between Lowell and Maine:

GP(UML Games in hand)
UMA - 11 (5)
UNH - 10 (4)
PC - 9 (3)
BC - 8 (2)
MC - 8 (2)
UVM - 8 (2)
ND - 8 (2)
NU - 8 (2)
BU - 7 (1)
ME - 7 (1)
Lowell - 6

A win at Maine on Sunday would complete an excellent first half of the season for Lowell:

.750 winning percentage
5-1 in conference games
7-1 on the road
11-1 in their last 12

Here's hoping the guys finish the year off strong and rest/heal up during the break.
Results tonight ... UND lost at home to UMass. UNH got swept with another loss to BC, this time at home. And BU/MC tied.

Time to start using these games in hand to our advantage.

bump;)..........you guys have played 5 league games while UMA has played over half their league schedule (11) by Dec 7th, weird

Really has been a strange schedule.

I suppose the good thing for Lowell is that they are 5 points behind the teams in first place (BC and PC), but have 3 and 4 games in hand on them, respectively (and 2 behind UNH, with 5 games in hand).

Craptastic first half of the period, taking three straight penalties, with first two resulting in goals. Arnold did score one before the end of the first to make it 2-1 Maine after one.

Second period is underway.

Plenty of chances to take the lead in third but couldn't put it in. The game winner was tough to watch.

Did I miss something, why was there no icing on the first open net attempt by Maine?

I asked Scott that, and he said it hit the apron. Bob thought it hit the post. Not sure either way.

Penalties killed Lowell tonight, plain and simple.

Thanks Monty. Tough way to go into the break.
