UML 2011-2012 Thread: Part III

Gotta get the new thread going to keep information flowing!

Section 107 is where we knew many of the 400 tickets in the UML block provided by NCAA were. So there will at least be a critical mass of UML fans in that corner so hopefully others who bought on their own will be in the general vicinity as well.

Lets hope this thread lives through the weekend. I'm not ready to post in the "Lowell off-season" thread!

Welcome aboard. ScottK, Patronick, Patman, lewsp, UMLFan, etc can take it from here.

You're right, where are my manners.... assume the paddling position, child!

Kidding. :p

Gainzo, too bad you can't make it down... wouldn't mind running into you. Shoulda tried in November when I came up for BU.

Tomorrow... I haven't decided if I'm going for full ridiculous but I should be "recognizable".

kingdobbs (a UConn fan) and I will be hitting the publick house around noon-ish.

edit: azn... I haven't been to that many games in the last few years since grad school... considering what it used to be (where me and a handful of others WERE the student section) its come a long and amazing way... and for the most part I'm absolutely thrilled that people have stayed well-behaved... you know... when I started at lowell people wanted out of there as fast as possible... and I'm glad that all of us have done the work that's gotten us to today.

Heard that the Lowell band may not be making the trip down. Something along the lines the NCAA requires a roster and commitment that Lowell couldn't guarantee in time.

oh, hell no... even if that's true that's moronic... throw them all on the bus and send them anyhow and force the issue. its not like Bridgeport is going to sell out.

Are you kidding me?!?! How tough is it to get their names, it isn't like it's not a performance ensemble already established in the Music Dept and they get credit, perform elsewhere, etc...they all have to sign up for it anyway. This had better not be true.

Hopefully this gets ironed out prior to game time.

GAME DAY! Can't wait to watch the game tonight. Going to be a long day at work.

I really hope this is not true, and if so, that it gets ironed out. NOT cool.

I am so close to send a terse e-mail asking if this is true... gotta stop myself from doing it... this is a "divide by zero" type thing... just no... just no... just no!

Just got the Game-Day email from Scott D. with the following quote in it:

"For your reference, the UMass Lowell fan section is located in Section 107 and the River Hawk Pep Band will be in Section 108."

EDIT: Depending on when the student bus arrives, I would love to "officially" meet you guys at the pre-game meet up and have a beer or two....Ironically today I turn 22.....

A bunch of us go to Beerworks before games at the Tsongas. If you're around next year, stop in there! We usually bail from there a bit after 6:30ish.

Won't make it down to Bridgeport. Have summer employment issues I need to take care of... (i.e. drinking with my boss in Maine and skiing before all the snow melts.) I will be listening on my phone and if we get past tonight, I'll be wearing my jersey whilst skiing tomorrow!
