Congrats to tUMD. Big pride swallow there. I gotta give credit where credit is due.

Congratulations to Minnesota Duluth. In this decade, Duluth has more NCAA Tournament wins (14), Frozen Four wins (5), and National Championship Game Appearances (3) than any program in college hockey. They also evened up BC in national titles in the decade. Pretty **** impressive.

Some on here might say you don't "belong" with the elites of college hockey, but the numbers say otherwise. Once again, congrats on a great season.

They, UMD, and Notre Dame are doing a lot to make good cases that they should be at least considered blue blood programs.


Good luck keeping the NHL wolves at bay from here on out.

Congrats to Duluth. Didn’t actively cheer since I don’t like them but gotta give credit to the team.

Fantastic protection of the goalie from start to finish, they clogged the lanes and almost completely stymied the ND offense. Congratulations.

The attitude of the majority of their fans after they won the first title. Which carried on for the next 5 years.

I know. I fully expect the Gophers to raise a banner next season and start counting the Bulldogs' titles as their own.

I guess on the plus side, it gives the "State of Hockey" their seventh national championship, moving it into fifth place for states with the most national championships.

I didn't want to say it, but since you did, this is exactly what I was thinking. Why are we surprised that there are Gopher fans trying to take partial credit for this?
