Umd bulldogs 2010-2011

Re: Umd bulldogs 2010-2011

Hey guys, how good is the percentage that Jack Connolly is back this season ? I just saw that he was rated as the top returning forward in the nation on collegehockeysource.com

But the source also had his "brother" Mike leaving "Duleuth"
(proofreading and fact checking may need a little work)

Just a great website. I am not sure what they spent less time on, the website design or research on college hockey.

In UMD related news, Assistant Head Coach Brett Larson left the program to become the head coach at USHL Sioux Falls.

The answer is C - they spent less time on proofreading than either design or research. The number of errors and typos is incredible.

8 of hockeyfan33's 15 posts feature a reference to collegehockeysource.com. Pretty sure this guy is just pimping his own website. You guys should be nicer in your critiques or he might just slit his wrists :)

The Larson news is bittersweet. Glad to see him get the chance to move up and be a head coach, but we're going to miss his recruiting power. Losing Rohlik and now Larson is going to be a major blow to Sandelin's recruiting, hopefully Plante and the next assistant can step up.

Eh, it could be worse. He could be some nutjob who keeps on bring up 2 of those other National Championships UMD has won in the past 3 years. ;)

Speaking of which, last time I checked YOU had the most posts in this thread! I probably have surpassed you now but I thought it was super funny.

The recruiting part worries me the most. I fear for the coming years, hopefully they won't be a doldrums for this program

Can I help it if you boobs don't wanna play well with others. Oh, somebody said something bad about UMD. Lets go take our puck, stick and beer and go home. Or better yet, how I got booted over there at the Penalty Box. *****ed a lot about all the football posts I did over there, but what got me the boot? Bringing up the fact that Bemidji State made the Frozen Four that year while UMD fell short of that in what was pretty much a home game for them in the Twin Cities right after it had been made offical that Bemidji and UNO were joining the WCHA.

**** Isolationists!!!:mad::mad::mad::p;)

Don't get too excited, I plan on ignoring it like I have been in this thread :)

You hosers have been hiding out in your own little playground haven't ya? won't let me play ball there ya big wienies!!! :p Too good to talk about the NCHA over here.

Either way, I saw this earlier, and I thought I would pass it along to you guys.

I still think Odim would have been drafted if he hadn't tore his knee up. Lots of teams would like to turn up another Danny Woodhead, and honestly, Odim has a lot better physical measureables that what Woodhead does. Still getting an invite to a camp right now, even if its nothing more than a cup of coffee there, its nothing to sneeze at.

Re: Umd bulldogs 2010-2011

Now UMD can enjoy being the perennial bottom feeder of the NCHC

Now that all the competition is gone, St. Cloud can win the autobid every year at the WCHA tourny held in an empty Verizon Wireless Center and then leave the NCAA's in the first round. See, the Big 10 and NCHC won't affect St. Cloud at all! :D

Now this sounds like someone who knows what he's talking about.
