Greetings! Just got back from my chili cookoff. I entered two chilies. There were 23 reds in the field. People could only vote for their favorite, which ended up kind of screwing me (or more to the point, I screwed myself by entering two chilies). In the end, I came in tied for 2nd with myself. lol. Only lost to the first place chili by one vote. In all, it was fun as heck and even the person who beat me thanked me for splitting the votes. It was kind of like having 2 Hobey Hat Trick finalists on the same team. :)

Thanks Viz. Lesson learned: know how the voting works prior to the competition. But I must admit that tying myself for second was probably more fun with all the comments I received. People even mixed my two chilies together after the competition and told me I should make that. lol. Good stuff. Now, DU has to cap off a good day for me in the right way.

And UMDBulldogs#1, I'll respond to your message from last night tomorrow. :)

I guess LeBlanc for St. Cloud was carried off the ice with some kind of lower body injury (possible broken leg). The St. Cloud fans are saying he lost an edge and hit the boards hard.

It's so great to have a color guy who can do that. BPB guy gets to hit the head, have a smoke and a coke, or a hot dog and stretch his legs. Invaluable. Plus, in this case, a pretty good interview.
