UMass Lowell @ RPI - 11/15/25

Definitely can tell Lang is easing him back in. Listed as the extra defensemen and has only played about 3 shifts. That being said, he's a huge body and hopefully will be used on the power play as an immovable object in front of the net. Reminds me of a Justin Addamo type with a long reach and stride. Doc can comment on what that would mean in rehabbing a hip injury, but so far he looks like it came along well.
From what little I can find of the extent of his original injury and the various treatments involved, he should be totally healed and at the best physically he can be. Saying that, he has lost a lot of time and the ability to play hockey at this level is not just about being physically well. his timing, his endurnce, his reflexes etc etc all have to redevelop at a stage of life that he would normally be far further along. he certainly has the size and apparently had more than enough tools and ability 5 years ago. I think our coach has him on a schedule that both he and the boy are comfortable with. I think we should hope to see a gradual improvement in his on ice performance. it is a work in progress but if he can regain what was there before and reach what was expected of him, we really could have quite a talent. Add his upside to what we are already seeing with Sobieski, and we might have a lot more than many of the so called experts have predicted.
