I've been having fun writing a blog about some memories of growing up playing hockey in Connecticut in the 70s, then going on to be a California hockey dad, player,
coach and ref...I'm posting this here because Chad Ruhwedel was a part of that experience...he was a neighbor and teammate of my son's in the Scripps Ranch community of San Diego...I wrote a bit about his time in San Diego in the most recent post, Chapter 9...I hope you enjoy..feel free to go back and read the rest. I won't be sure until the team hits the ice... August/September is the other usual window as its a pressure pt on NHL clubs

I was told that the schedule should be released next week. Apparently Lowell will NOT be playing Bentley this season.

Is the Catamount Cup schedule set (no real "championship" game)?

So we play Clarkson three straight games? Wow.

3 games missing from the schedule....2 with Quinnipiac and 1 from from AIC? I wish our NC schedule was stronger.

Unless there's another UML student named Joshua Holmstrom, it appears our assistant captain was assaulted by this guy. Lucky Holmstrom didn't beat the crap out of the guy, sounds like he was caught off guard after trying to be the peacemaker here. Be interesting to see what comes out in court.
