USCHO preseason poll has Lowell 5th.
I'm surprised they are ranked that high given the players they have lost. The USA today poll has them at #9 which is closer to what I was thinking.

2nd place in the HE coaches poll. They got 5 of the 11 1st place votes, nobody else had more than 2.
Has to be the weirdest voting in recent preseason polling right? 5 teams getting first place votes...

Bazin signs 5 year extension!

One of the top Coaches in College Hockey, good deal for UML keeping Bazin in the fold. One question here is how long will Cam Ellsworth stay? Figure him to be one of the top upcoming assistants around and I would think in the next year or two that some Div.1 Hockey Program will reach out for him. This is great news. Been in the works for a while so nice to see.
Here's the Hockey East playoff format for this season.

Would kinda suck to finish #5 and get a bye but no home playoff series eh? As a fan I'd probably rather my team come in 6th.
