good first period for the bears... offense is creating chances and taking advantage of mistakes. only concerns so far are the penalty kill (which got better after that first one) and while getting it done, Sirman has given up a few tasty rebounds...

northeastern and pc are tied at 1 after one
vermont leads denver 2-1 in the second
minnesota and umass tied at 0 after one
unh and miami are tied at 0 late in the first

so far so good, but let's see how things go now that hockey season has started... between my two games a week and maine's two, it should go spectacularly!
