The question is going to be ... where are the goals coming from?2023-24 Men's Ice Hockey Roster - UMass Lowell Athletics (goriverhawks.com)
31 players on the roster (3 G., 10 D, 18 F). Class breakdown, 5 GR., 3 Sr., 6 Jr., 9 So., 8 Fr.
Men's basketball released their schedule, and will be playing 16 of their 28 regular season games on the road. And two of the home games are against Rivier and Fisher. Blech.
Why do they schedule D3 teams? Is it just to pad their schedule with automatic wins?
The 2023/2024 Lowell athletic season starts tonight, with Women's Soccer heading to Merrimack. Another year is upon us. Go Lowell.

The worry going into the season is still going to be scoring goals. Pavicich might be a good pick up, I don't know ... but who's going to find the net?I didn't realize we picked up a goalie in the portal. Kind of depressing to see is snap up what looks like a good goalie and still get slotted so low... on the other hand if we have a couple of surprises that can only mean upward movement.
All I want is a good start up in Alaska. Screwing up is allowed as long as the effort looks good. First weekend of the season and all that, but performing like they did last year at home is unacceptable.
edit: Time to spin up a new thread? Maybe a permathread with no season year attached?
edit #2: I looked up the McMahon tweet.
.... and apparently uscho doesn't allow links to twitter... so much for that
