UMass Lowell 2020-2021: Down the long hallway

Bad news for Carl Berglund. Hopefully he has a quick and full recovery.

UMass Lowell hockey coach Norm Bazin confirms Carl Berglund will miss rest of season. Despite missing the last four games, sophomore tied for team scoring lead. Berglund underwent knee surgery last week.

Big day today with both basketball teams in the conference semi-finals and hockey vs BU at 3... why we aren't playing two vs BU I dont' have any flipping clue. This team hasn't made sense all season so we'll have to see if there's any hope going into the playoffs.

Both indoor track teams won the conference meet.

did I say indoor track, i meant cross country... this year is weird.

UML 79, UMBC 77... bragging rights at work matter.

I was thinking about setting up a discord for chatter and game chatter. Good idea? Bad idea?

So, if I understand correctly, Lowell is hosting UVM on Wednesday and if Lowell advances they will play at BU the following Sunday?

Also, that's great news about the MBB team, good luck to the women today.

That's correct. Hopefully they don't look past UVM. It's tough to beat a team 3 times within a couple of weeks.
It's good to hear that Bob Ellis will be back next season.

Played well to start the game, and then crapped out about 4 minutes into the first. As you said Bob, too many penalties.

Awful time for a broken stick, giving up a 2-0 shorthanded breakaway goal to UVM with 36 seconds left in the second. 4-2 after 2, which is disappointing because Lowell thoroughly outplayed Vermont that period, but that late goal gives the Catamounts hope.

That was a tough luck after a very good 2nd period. The Hawks need a solid and smart (no bad penalties) 3rd period.

Unfortunate.

What's everyone doing for the AE hoops championship game on Saturday morning?
