Last week's HE defensive player of the week was ND D Jordan Gross with 3g, 1a in two games. I guess HE goes for the offensive defensemen.

On the flip side, BU D John MacLeod was -4 for the weekend series so I'll take Zink with his 3g and +2 for the weekend!

Quick question guys and gals: Went to buy BC away tix for next Friday through the Tsongas site and it didn't show me what seats I was buying - just said "TC - GA". Will these be part of a big group of decent seats with other buyers from UML? If so any idea where they are? Thanks!

The seats are in the corner of the upper deck. Depending on where in the row they put you, you could lose the near corner.

If you call the box office, they can usually tell you what seats are available from the lot they were given and sell you specific seats over the phone. You might even save a buck or two because I think there's an extra fee for buying online.

Bob notes as game starts that there aren't many at the game but that a fair amount of Lowell fans are there. Clearly heard "let's go Lowell" chant as game started.

And's what's with these teams who still have tv timeouts even though the game isn't on tv? What a pain.

And it's 1-0 AIC. The worst team in DI, I was afraid of this. They better wake up or we'll be sunk in PWR.

Whew! 1-1 on goal by Master. Dmowski involved too and has been really stepping up his game recently (bad BU penalty aside).

And Lowell fans appear to be outnumbering AIC fans, could clearly hear "it's all your fault" chant, etc.

Tonight's Lowell-AIC connection fun fact. AIC was originally known as the French Protestant College when it opened in 1885 in St. George's Church in Lowell on Fletcher Street, within view of today's University Crossing. The college moved to Springfield in 1887 and became AIC.

From pregame interview- they are playing Fri-Sat-Tuesday for a couple of weeks. I would have TV timeouts if I was the coach too.

Oh god. 2-2 AIC shorthanded. Bob and Jim lamenting bad UML turnovers, a hallmark of this season.
