Probably good questions for the Union/RPI thread. Usually there are regional threads people join in with this kind of info, not sure who starts them.

I was very impressed with UML last weekend. Great defense. Good team concept on the ice. I can see an upset of yale in their game this weekend

From the articles ive read it sounds like most people think were gonna see a yale vs quinnapiac final up in albany. So i was going based upon that. I posted on another thread that lowell has great defense and yale barely scores. avg only 2 goals a game. I believe lowell can win the game and well see lowell vs quinnipiac on sunday. Ill be there

Im staying at the holiday inn express. it a half a mile from the times union center. TUC is located downtown albany so theres bars around and such. Dont go wandering too much. The holiday inn express was 105 for the night last week. They also have a free shuttle from hotel to rink

I don't think a Yale win would be an upset, either.

Yes its a huge rivalry but i have the mindset of the committee i dont wanna keep seeing rematches all year. I wish they would do the regionals and have 4 teams from 4 different conference across the board. I think that would be a lot more fun.

Denver vs BC
Michigan vs RIT
Yale vs Harvard
Lowell vs SCSU

Yale has the #1 ranked D (based on GAA) in the country. UML is #2 and went into triple OT against the #3 team (Providence) on Friday. Saturday could end up being a very late night. :eek:

You realize with 6 Hockey East teams in this is legitimately impossible right? Not to mention attendance, already struggling, would legit tank in this scenario.

Yes i understand with HE getting as many teams as they did it would be impossible but thats this year. Im saying do it to the best of their ability to give us teams that dont see each other. And if attendance is struggling so much they need to identify the problems with college hockey and fix it.

Thats fine with me. my hotel is a half mile from the rink. Im there for the whole weekend. I would love to see a 3OT game like the one lowell just played

I only paid a 100 bucks for my room which is pretty cheap. What did you pay out by Suny Albany
