UMass Lowell 2014-2015 Season: The March to March Thread II

Re: UMass Lowell 2014-2015 Season: The March to March Thread II

I haven't done that in yrs. What time does the T stop? THis is the first time Lil hasn't had something right before which made us show up late enough it didn't matter.

It really is getting cost prohibitive. Reeeeally wish they would have this at a more user friendly venue. The Gaaaahden is the least fun, with the least atmosphere, for the most money. Worcester and ManchVegas were much more cost effective and fan friendly.

T on the weekend runs until 2:30-3 am now, you'll be fine even if the teams pull a UMass-ND tonight.

Boyle struggled with his rebound control, but made the big saves when he needed to. The only goal he let up was the result of a brutal missed tripping call against Irwin.

Her[no]sey Right in front of us. He didn't miss it. He watched but didn't call it.

Is it me or are they letting a lot more things go than they used to? Last weekend I thought it was medical school out there. They used their sticks on each other anymore and they were going to be doing surgery. So much chopping, hooking etc.

And on a happy note- who would've thunk it? Kudos to a team who believes in themselves when the numbers say they shouldn't. Over the Summer I certainly didn't think I would be looking for parking solutions on the Finals night. They really have stick to itness that I admire. :D

Re: parking - while it is about a 15 minute walk, I am going to park at the Post Office Square garage. Only $9 or $10 on the weekends. Bonus is that my office is right there in case my family needs a quick potty break before the drive home. Plus it is easy access to the highway and do not have to worry about driving through the crowd.

Really need people to stop complaining about Eichel. He really is as good as advertised, and if college hockey is getting some air time during the news, that's good for the sport in general. He makes it look so easy out there. While watching him last night, it looked like he wasn't even trying and he was doing amazing things with the puck. If you can't appreciate that, then I don't know what to tell you.

With that said, he's going to regret never returning Norm's recruiting call as Lowell's banner gets attached to the Hockey East banner at the Garden for another title. See you in October Jack. Enjoy Edmonton, Buffalo, or Arizona.

This is what I do. $9 is cheaper than parking at BU and I think it's not only weekends but any entry after 5pm? Wife tells me Devonshire garage is cheaper, though.

Not complaining about EIchel. Complaining about the sportscasters who have a one horse show.
I think I am going with Sullivan and the 6$. then I can feel the bottomless pit in Lil's stomach and still afford to go to the grocery store tomorrow

It's ok the Zebras made up for it on the phantom hooking call to start the 5-3.

There was some terrible officiating all around

Anybody want to play a drinking game? Take a sip every time the announcers mentioned old Jack on NBCSN.

How is the Garden not "user-friendly"? Two subway lines stop literally underneath the arena, and a Lowell fan complaining about the Garden when the train from Lowell also literally stops at the arena sounds like a pretty goofy argument.

Yes, not all of us are coming from Our Fair City, but Worcester or Manchester of all places is easier for most people to get to? I don't think so.

That call wasn't nearly egregious as the trip by Irwin. Go back and watch the highlights, it may be the most obvious missed call I've ever seen.

going to listen to the radio... I don't want to be bothered in going out finding a TV and spending the money.

Your guy fell down tripping over his own skates. I said the reffing was terrible on all sides. They didn't show the Irwin trip where I was watching so I can't comment on that. The uvm penalty was obviously a make up. Just for added measure they made it a 5-3. It wouldn't have changed the outcome but learn to read I said it was bad for all sides.

Lowell is doing a lot of watching tonight.. (especially early).. Terriers skating and taking gm up & down the ice. Not working for the 'Hawks tonight.. as yet..
