Yale outplayed us badly tonight. Gameplan, skill, speed... we lost in all aspects of the game and that is tough to take with our great record this year. But, UML had a great season and we [UML] should be even better next year. Very disapointing game but the team should keep their heads up for a great 12/13' season.

The seniors, especially Wetmore did really well for the program, thanks to them.

Still, the team can look at this game and focus for next year. They were defeated for 70 minutes tonight, not on a random, fluke overtime goal.

Sorry, River Hawks. The better team won tonight, if that's any consolation (and it probably isn't.) I was pulling for you to win it all, and as a UNH fan, I feel your pain.

Still, you had a magical season, and will be strong again next year, assuming Hellebuyck stays. Be proud of your team, despite this loss, and good luck to your seniors.

I'll say only a few brief things. Yale outplayed us, threw our own game back at us, and we couldn't adapt or handle it... but at times we also looked slow and sloppy... nothing infuriates me more than making dumb plays. Smart hockey may not always be possible but... screw it.

The other thing. This was Yale's game but the referring was one sided and incredibly horrible. The WCHA should be ashamed of what they allowed out there tonight.

Sorry for the loss, but your guys played tough and almost pulled it off. Nothing to hang your heads about. Your program is going to continue to be a contender.

oh yeah ... the reffing. Yale could do no wrong. a couple extra River Hawk PPs might have helped.

Adapt, learn, build and then return to slog. Entirely doable. 2014 starts now. We got outskated for the first time in a very long time.

We come away with this establishing a lot but also learning a lot... instutitionally certainly. When you get binding events like this the helpful communicate increases.

That's the thing. The team should be forced to watch this game multiple times prior to beginning next season. It wasn't a talent problem like in previous years, they just got out-skated and out played. I think they were trying to be too cute with the puck at times. Other times they just got beat. I talked with some people tonight that said, maybe they hadn't played someone as good as Yale all year. It's just not true... they outplayed everyone for a long time. The game Vs Yale could havebeen close; this one wasn't... the better but team won tonight.

BUT, It was a GREAT season. Thanks UML and Wetmore, great career. You can't win them all. 2012/13 was the best Lowell season in my Lowell fandom.

GREAT SEASON! Incredibly disappointing but well done.

I only caught the 3rd and OT after I got home from work, but I saw absolutely no evidence that Lowell in any way got jobbed by the officials. Not to mention the absurdly obvious uncalled puck that was covered by a Lowell player with ~1 minute left in the 3rd.

Maybe one day the UML fans will also get to experience their season being ended prematurely because of elephant walking.

it was earlier in the game for the most part.

Sheesh. That was a bitter pill to swallow. I couldnt ask for a better season if I tried. We just got outplayed, plain and simple. Its been a fantastic year, so now I guess next step is the off season and onto the Hockey East with Notre Dame (seriously, we couldn't have just stolen Brown?)

Good season UML from a BU fan. I won't say great because Hockey East teams expect to win it all. You've definitely pushed your way into the top tier in the league. Next year is going to be another battle. Hold your heads high!
