Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread II

We're hitting the "OMG they're all on the road" stretch. A rival game against Merrimack, a trip to Maine where we want to take some revenge, a trip to the heights, and then the annual car-b-que classic at UMass... The target is 3-1 on this series of games. No let up.

Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread II

Just a reminder, Friday's game at Merrimack starts at 7:00 pm.

Mike McMahon‏@MikeMcMahonCHN

NOTE: Many tickets issued for Friday’s Merrimack-Lowell game indicate a 7:30 p.m. start, but the game was moved to 7 p.m. due to television.

With the way this team plays on the road, the goal is 4-0. BC has become very beatable (though it'll be February, so it'll be time for BC to destroy everyone), UMass is UMass. The toughest games I think will be this weekend. Lowell needs to start being some TUC, so Friday night is huge.

Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread II

First and foremost, I want Lowell to sweep this weekend.

But is it too early to start wishing for other teams to win (or tie at least)? UMass hosting BU Friday, NU hosting UNH, Maine hosting Providence. Not that it's likely, but it's strange to think that if the Hawks do their job on Friday, and the three home teams I listed all win ... Lowell would be in 4th place, just one point behind BU (with a game in hand) and UNH.

Wishful thinking on Umass, NU and ME all winnning against TUCs but it sure would be cool!

Help is help, we'll take it whenever we can (thanks Maine, no, we're still not taking Whitehead back).

Wondering if Todd will be doing his '...by the numbers' posts this year. Always something to look forward to down the stretch. :)

Any word about the goaltending situation? Carr was sure awful last weekend. I'm hoping Hellebuyck is ready to go.

Yeah . . . honestly did not see this type of season coming for Carr. Thank god for Hellebuyck, or else who knows where this team would be (probably in the same place they were after 10 games this season).

Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread II

Hopefully, since he's getting the chance, he can rebound after a bad weekend.

Been really quiet this week, considering the Merrimack River Rivalry...
