UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

I suppose there are advantages to playing in front of lots and lots of fans who appreciate hockey. And Teddy is from a maritime province, not a big, crime-ridden city, like Tampa and LA. Maybe he would prefer to live in the wheat and oil fields.

You're putting Tampa and Los Angeles in the same category? That's funny. Add a zero to Tampa's population, then maybe.....

I have attended games at the Rexall Center and you are right the fans do appreciate their hockey and Teddy will like playing there but the weather might be another story. -30 F the night we attended our last game there. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Did this just happen? Or was it done before the Banquet?

Josh just went public on Facebook. I talked to him and he's really bummed because he loved it here. Will be interesting to see where he lands.

Nothing but the best to him but he just wasn't a Red guy. Simple as that.

Any rumors or rumblings about our two significant flight risks? #94 and #10?

If they both stick around... :D

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

None to speak of. All signs point to them being back in October

Re: UMaine: No Cure for the Summertime Blues but to BEAR the Months 'till October!

time to decide if I want to renew my tickets...

I've had them since I finished grad school in 2004, but the last few years I've split them with a co-worker. With a child and busy work lives, it became hard to make to to Orono two nights in a row. Now I'm living further away too. I could really use a third ticket now that the son is older, that would make one aspect of attending the games easier because we wouldn't need a sitter.

If my co-worker still wants to split I'll probably keep them. If not, I probably wont.
