Oddly enough 6 of the top 10 teams did not make the NCAA tournament last season.

I wonder if there will be a Hockey East coaches poll. Did I miss it? Traditionally it's done toward the end of September.

Binner and Westerlund make on the initial NHL Central Scouting players to watch list. Not surprising since they were on final one last spring, were not drafted, and are still eligible.

I don't think this is a huge deal when everyone is available, if Michel or Keeper gets hurt this becomes really painful though. With Holway gone Spicer better be ready to step up.

I don't know, he's been one of the better ones on the back end for the last two seasons, and D was already a problem. I also heard from an inside source that VMT is out for a while with an ankle injury. Much more pressure on guys like Butala and Spicer though, for sure.
