UMaine Hockey Offseason: Insert Funny Title Here

Re: UMaine Hockey Offseason: Insert Funny Title Here

Right now Gendron has one year left on his first extension and then his second extension is for 2 years/ 3 years under contract and both Guite/Michuad are more likely to be around as long as Gendron is behind the bench....time for the young Walsh to get more experience @ Colby and from there maybe a assistant job in Div.1 hockey....but then who knows from one year to the next. **NOTE** I could be wrong on the years in total under Contract for Gendron.

I think you are correct where he has three seasons left on his existing contract... which this article backs up when it says his contract will run to June 30th, 2021.

Figured it would happen once Lamirello {sic} took over, when he takes over a job he's the Boss and everyone answers to him.
Should have been done years ago if Win Loss was part of criteria

Yes I agree, Snow lived on borrowed time in his role of GM. By NHL standards he was mediocre.

Good luck there. Just saying.

Built a franchise. Watch how great they will be. :)

Too early to predict Greg Moore will be the guy to lead us out of the gutter?

Yep, too early. Hopefully Maine is already climbing out of the gutter. I'm looking forward to seeing how next year's guys fit in with last years class.

I was looking for Maine's schedule, but knew Maine had that date open for someone. Good to know.....now if I could find the FULL Maine schedule. Anyone??

There are 36 games listed. One is exhibition against UPEI, so that drops to 35 games that count against 34 game limit. So seems like the Brown game won't happen, or is a contingency if an out of conference game is cancelled. Meaning for example Yale or Colorado College can't come due to schedule conflicts. But it looks full if you remove the Brown game and all scheduled are upheld.

Toronto has traded Vesey to Edmonton for conditional 7th round pick in 2020. Edmonton signs Vesey to 2-year entry-level contract. Vesey would have become UFA if Toronto did not sign him by August 15th.

Glad it worked out for Nolan.
