About 3 minutes left in 2nd a switch must have turned on as Maine started to fly around the ice. Another great play by Josh to get puck on net

Well, I’ve gone to early season games before where we had thunder and lightning, and once mid season drove home in thunder snow during a nor’easter, but this is the first time I’ve headed to the Alfond during a February thunderstorm…..????
Exposing a new generation to a Maine hockey game tonight, 6 year old grandson.

Thunder. Bolts of lightning. Very, very frightening.

It had just started when I came out of the Alfond at 4:30. Typical Orono weather in February. They were trying out some new graphics for the scoreboard. I hope they didn't jinx the team by jumping the gun on the whole "sweep" thing...

Maine passing is sloppy, d break out sucks but leading 2-0 with Josh involved in that. Providence more physical but maine is trying. Long way from being over.
Too many penalties also, honna bite em

Providence scores a bit of a mystery. I couldn’t tell who shot it. But a puck was blocked, not cleared, and someone shot it through a lot of traffic in. The replays seemed to be useless. Tied at 2
