I'm assuming in a campus site regional situation, the #1 seed school in each region would host all three games? Because I can't imagine it would just be the higher seeded team gets home ice, having to possibly go halfway across the continent on like a day's notice is probably not in anyone's interests.

It depends on what format they choose. A best of three first and second round leading to the Frozen Four or a single elimination format with four teams at a single site.
Assuming the NCAA does away with the neutral site format.

Nice to see Maine starting the remodel on Alfond. The elevator rumor is probably true, ADA ? Be good to get band back where it belongs. Don’t follow uhn all that much but Souza gets an extension? I guess they think this season was a turnaround compared to the last few? I can’t imagine their fans love that move.

Imagine it was a tough decision. Oh well, Barr can win it next year then. He strikes me as the kind of coach that doesn’t care much for personal awards, but team success. He likely finds more pride in winning big games.
Well, we already discussed COTY previously, so no need to fully rehash it again. Obviously as a Maine homer and alum I wanted Barr to win, but I can't complain too much about the result. Congratulations to Greg Brown, a worthy winner of the award in my book.

Probably true but always seize the moment, besides nothing wrong with 2 in a row.
Would have been good for the program forget the personal focus on it.
PLEASE tell me they're not getting rid of the baked potato bar!! Best concession in college hockey. In all honesty I haven't been able to get to Alfond in a few years so I don't know if they did away with it at all. And why did they move the band off the balcony? Where did they go?

They've moved off to the side, and I remember hearing at one point that it was to better accommodate a disabled band member, but I don't know if that was every fully confirmed as the reason.
It was the reason.

I'm not trying to be a wise guy but don't they have to climb stairs in the section that they are currently in as well?

Pretty sure to get up to DD where the band is they're probably only climbing 10 stairs at most rather than two flights to get up to the balcony. Much more reasonable of an accommodation.
I'll be glad when the band is back in the balcony though.

Sadly the potato bar and the BBQ pit were victims of the pandemic. Quite literally, in the case of the potato bar I believe. It's a real shame too. I loved the potato bar and the barbecue was located directly below my box and the smell drifting up was heavenly.
